In England the cafes are different to Australia .. they don’t know what ice coffee with ice cream is and usually have bacon instead of salmon. This morning we found a gorgeous little cafe for breakfast just like in Oz and only 2 mins away from us… they even made an Aussie style ice coffee! Yum! Thanks for our date day breakfast! Service was amazing , food was amazing and the cafe is beautiful! 💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

. We are planning our next move! Eddie has always wanted to learn Spanish, so at the end of Jan we will be going on a road trip from Liverpool through France stopping off at various places along the way and then down the coast to finally live and study in Malaga for 2 months.

We need accommodation from the 2nd week in Feb in /close to Malaga for 2 months. (Eddies school is in the city but he can travel to and from school by public transport/car max 30 mins.

We will try and do a house sit if any come available on the TrustedHousesitters app.

In the meantime if anybody has any accommodation contacts in Malaga please connect us. It’s a tough market in Malaga at the minute as like everywhere in the world there is a rental crisis…

Looking forward to really living the Spanish lifestyle for a bit- not the ex pat lifestyle like I did when I was young and didn’t drink wine or coffee😂.

For all of my friends in Los Nietos and surrounds, I will defo be popping by for a few days visit the first week in Feb.

Tonight’s dinner. Pan fried in butter plaice, creamed leeks, mashed potato, steamed greens…. Yum. Last time I cooked plaice I was doing some work experience with college in the Lake District at a hotel.. that was probably 26 years ago!! I found some nice fresh plaice at today so it seemed a good idea to throw it back to my college days whilst here!

My friends and I were taking an afternoon walk along the river the other day and these fellas were having such a good time.. not caring what anybody thinks and just having fun. It’s been ages since I had “wacky dance” and a good laugh… the last few months have been hard watching my dads health decline daily and not knowing what lies ahead for us and where we are going or when. Time to try and start living in the moment and try to not think too much!

Eddie and Eduardo surprise nanny Brazil IN BRAZIL yesterday for her 70yh birthday! Happy was an understatement! I’ve stayed home with Maggie and my family💕 ###
