Tie The Knot Handfasting Cords I create personalised, OOAK Handfasting Cords for all couples tying the knot, worldwide.

A handfasting ceremony is an ancient marriage ceremony where traditionally a length of cloth, cord or ribbon was made and sometimes inscribed with the Latin words meaning “Our Devotion for an Eternity”. The cord or ribbons (usually of different colours, representing different meanings) were tied around a couples wrists, hence where we get the phrase “to tie the knot”. The Handfasting is a ceremon

ial statement of a feeling which binds two people together. It is not a Marriage which binds, but the Love, respect and enjoyment which two people share.
