Did you know....

The Stirling Community Theatre is home to three principal member groups and one associate member group.
Hills Musical Company , Hills Youth Theatre and The Stirling Players, Adelaide , along with The Carolan School of Ballet have a rich history with The Stirling Community Theatre, making it a hive of theatre goodness seven days a week.

The Hills Musical Company opens their 50th Anniversary production of ‘Kiss Me Kate’ on the stage at the Stirling Community Theatre on Friday 28 April. Three weekends only. Don’t miss this one!

🍾🎉 Tomorrow night is opening night for our 50th anniversary production of 'Kiss Me, Kate'!

Telling the story of a travelling theatre troupe’s musical rendition of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, this classic musical comedy is one of the original battles of the sexes both on and off stage between producer, director and star Fred Graham and his leading lady and ex-wife, Lilli Vanessi. The show features a chaotic cast of supporting characters including a sexy ingénue, hapless gambling matinee idol, dancers and crew as well as some unusually articulate gangster thugs who get swept up in the action.

Stirling Community Theatre Upgrade - Stage 2 completed.
A huge shout out to Paul and the professional gang at McLeay and Sons Carpets for the wonderful work they have done this week. A difficult job beautifully done within a tight timeframe. Stay tuned for Stage 3 starting Tuesday.

Stage 2 of the Stirling Community Theatre upgrade got off to a speedy start this week. Carpet layers are in taking out the old and putting in the new. Electricians have been in to set up the cabling for the aisle lighting.

Stirling Community Theatre Upgrade - Stage 1: Completed.
The seats have been relocated to their new home at Star Theatres. Many thanks to Malcolm Harslett and the boys from Star Theatres for the very well organised removal of these seats, leaving the Stirling Theatre ready for new carpet this week and new seating in October.

BREAKING NEWS: Major upgrade to the Stirling Community Theatre - Oct 2022.

The SCT Management Committee is pleased to share the news that the Stirling Community Theatre will be receiving some long awaited upgrades to seating and carpet in October 2022. Audiences will benefit from new comfortable seating and fresh carpet that have been specifically chosen to maintain the heritage look and feel of the building.
