GET TO KNOW US!
So many new faces to our page lately so we just wanted to take a moment to say hey and welcome! 👋
We are Linda (right) and Elaine (left) and we are the proud owners of a little slice of flower fun here in Sydney’s inner west.
Some fun facts about us:
🌸 We have 40 years of floristry experience between the two of us!
🌸 We have a pretty fun origin story. My husband match made us! My husband managed an Airbnb that Linda happened to stay at. They got to talking and when Owen found out Linda was a florist, he put us in touch and we met for a blind date coffee. We ended up liking each other and the rest is, of course, history!
🌸 We very nearly went bust because of COVID. At the time we were almost exclusively a corporate and event floristry business. As COVID took hold, we lost all of our business in the space of a week. In a last ditch effort to move our corporate stock we put a few posts up on socials if anyone wanted to buy flowers for their homes or send to friends in isolation. From there people started placing more orders and the gifting arm of our business was born. We are forever indebted to our beautiful community who supported us when it all looked so bleak.
🌸 We don’t tik tok. Or dance. Or talk from the front seat of our car. But we so much want to share all the joy and fun of the flower world with you! We hope we’ll be worth the space on your feed :)

You know that feeling when your bestie returns after being away for a really really long time? That’s us every time the seasons change and new flowers come into bloom. Even after all these years, seeing the first sweet pea of the season makes us SO happy, like welcoming an old friend back into the fold.
It’s one of the joys of being a florist, getting to see our favourite flowers again as each new season arrives!
Here’s what we love in winter and why:
🌸 Wax flower - full and flowery, and long lasting!
🌸 Stock - lightly fragrant and nostalgic
🌸 Sweet pea - so fragrant and dainty
🌸 Wattle - fun and bright
🌸 Cymbidium orchid - elegant, striking and super long lasting!
Have you got a favourite?
Look out for our spring edition in a few months!
