The 10th edition of Australia’s own International Extreme Enduro event date has been set for the 10th of November 2019. The WILDWOOD ROCK EXTREME is a unique race that pushes the limit of each rider on the day. Showcasing the best off-road bike control while at the same time providing thrills for spectators of all ages that you don't get at any other event. The already proven course has been a great challenge for all classes over the past 9 years. With Australia’s best extreme or otherwise hard Enduro riders returning to this year’s event we will have to see what international riders are going to come to contend for the largest pay day of the year. Previous Australian winners of the event are the likes of Daniel Sanders, Matthew Phillips and Mitch Harper with the also extreme world master in Wade Young of South Africa and Graham Jarvis of the UK. It is always clear that anyone that does come to battle at the front soon finds out it won’t be a walk in the park. The main goal for many who enter is to just finish the day, with that chance of being apart of the top 3 of their classes. When you mix in other top Australian off road names like Ibrahim, Perry, Nowak, Rees, Solar, Chadwick, Coleman, Grabham and Campbell to turn up the heat at the top end of the field creating the ultimate leader board all day it is anyone's to be taken. Riders push through the tough terrain at Wildwood each year that is made up of hills and rock gardens always ready to make riders think twice. With many changes this year, even returning riders will be up for a big surprise. The weather will play the biggest part of the day and the event will run rain, hail or shine in true hard enduro style. As this is an extreme event riders need to do more than think about the hill climbs and rocky down hills, as this only makes up a small part of the track. Spectators will see riders going through a 32 foot Beford bus, over logs, tyres, rocks, Ute tubs and not to mention through the house frame lined with swinging tyres. The bog holes will be getting some special attention with some much needed rocks added to reduce the water levels. These are just a few of the objects that will make the Sunbury Bakers Delight $500 dash for the fastest prologue from 9am, even more reason to get in early to see the carnage. Once the prologue is out of the way riders will line up 5 wide and set off for the 3 hour onslaught that could earn the lead rider a massive $6,000. While the riders make it around the track spectators can view all of the great products while kicking back to the high quality live bands that will be on show all day long. The free shuttle bus will be in operation during the day to the Beta Rock garden and back during the main event. 3 Classes make the main event. Gold, Silver and Bronze Riders from each class with the fastest prologue time get the chance to win their entry fees back and then go on to take the great prize money on offer for the main 3 hour Race. This event is all about spectators being able to get up close and personal, make plenty of noise and watch an event like no other. Wildwood Rock Extreme. Gates open from 8am, Prologue 9am and Main Event at 11:00am. (No Dogs or pets Please)
