Interesting fact ~ all members of the delphinium genus of about 300 species are toxic to humans and livestock so don’t eat them! Just look at them 👀

The blue blooms signifying dignity and grace and is the birth flower of July.

It was used traditionally to make dye and ink and the Greeks believed it was magical ✨

If you are lucky enough to be at the Montvale Estate at the Lakeside Pavilion
you may get lucky and see their beautiful resident platypus.

Such a fascinating and remarkable shy creature. An egg-laying, duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed mammal with a reptilian gate that feeds it’s young on milk. Males have a venomous spur on their hind feet that is potent enough to kill a small animal..
