Handfuls of vibrant summer blooms, picked from the garden before the mites and the wet set in 🙈 This growing season has taught me A LOT of lessons, the biggest though, is how amazing the growing community is in Australia, both small scale and large scale. Without fail, every single person I’ve reached out to for advice over the past few months has offered their knowledge and experience openly and freely, which has been so incredible for me as a total garden novice 🙈 I’m so grateful for this community who is dedicated to growing and sharing natures beauty, and inspiring others to do the same!

Now, I feel more motivated than ever to plan for next season, to hopefully spread the joy of flowers even further!

Enter the smokey candle holders, charcoal dinner candles, black and gold cutlery, pinstripe linen napkins and gorgeous, bespoke stationery but Tabitha at . Hey!

I’m Courtney, founder of Fiesta Flora - a floral design studio dedicated to creating fun, imaginative and textural floral experiences for weddings, events and parties (fiestas!). Based in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, we are perfectly situated to provide our floral service from Noosa/Maleny/Caloundra and surrounds, as well as destination events in Byron Bay, Brisbane, Scenic Rim and beyond (please inquire!).

A little bit about me. I love to travel and experience new scenery, cultures and of course, food (take me anywhere in Europe, any day). I love wide open spaces, and having my bare feet in the sand or laying out in the fresh grass is the absolute best feeling ever. I am happiest when I’m spending time with my partner, Cam and our little red cattle dog, Banjo - currently 1 year old. My family and friends mean the absolute world to me, and regular catch ups with them over a coffee, wine, a sneaky cocktail or dinner is a must! I also love to entertain my family and friends. I LOVE to laugh a lot - most of the time too loudly and at the most ridiculous things. And I love to make other people feel good!

I am a complete garden novice, but would love to someday grow my own cut flowers to use in my designs. For now though, lets consider that the distant future (read: pipe dream).

My approach to floristry has always been to make it interesting and fun. I am forever on the hunt for new textures to use, flowers to forage and ways of creating something truly unique to each event I am fortunate enough to be a part of.
