After booking her as our celebrant and in the lead up to our wedding, Sommer was organised and lead us through the process of planning our ceremony. She sent us reminders when things were to be completed and sent back - was so helpful to keep us on track.

And our ceremony... HOLY SMOKES!

Look, there is no doubt that Ali from will seriously kill me for posting this… but it’s deserves a spot on the grid!

Why?

Because I am here to remind you through your planning journey that having likeminded, if not great mates on your vendor list is seriously a no brainer. It often means we have worked alognside each other many times over which also means we know each others moves (dance moves even), we respect each others professionalism, we understand each other and can often communicate without even saying a word, (lots of hand gestures usually when housekeeping is done and the bride is ready to walk down the aisle haha!)

So when you receive a recommended suppliers list whether it be from your venue, celebrant, photographer or videographer, take a good look at it, because chances are you are about to hit the jackpot with a bunch of peeps that will love you, care for you, have unwavering attentiveness and the best energy!

Take us back!

I married these two gentle souls last week up at with only a dozen or so of their favourite people, but right before we began, all the moo cows came right up against the fence (this has never happened) and literally hung around as 20 extra guests!

With the 13 glasshouse mountains in perfect sight, it was truly a magical and very intimate day.

Congrats Mr & Mrs McNeilly!

Marrying siblings of couples I have previously married has to be one of the most beautiful parts of my role.

Being invited back into a families space is just so dear & special and this week it happened twice.

After 6 years, it is now happening quite regularly, a few times a month actually. This truly comforts me, leaving me feeling like I am definitely on the right track. One that is all heart and those genuine big feels!

What is also awesome, is the couple generally also book the photographer! Same team, same dream!

Thank you to all, for trusting me in such a delicate role, earning the title ‘The Families Celebrant’ over again through baby namings even, and gosh that’s just so great!

Back to today to marry Morgan + Jordan after 17 years together, what perfect weather they have! Wr are all so excited, especially being back with Gordon the bagpiper too, in nod of our brides fathers heritage.

It got me reminiscing about this fine day last year, for Emma + Ollie, amongst the Jacaranda trees.

Ed from captured the most sincere footage & Andrew from took the precious snaps. How good is the one of Ollie checking out his new bling?

This particular venue oozes warmth, I often describe it to my couples as a little bit like Grandma’s house… you know that fancy Grandma that has the fancy tea cup sets?! It’s so beautifully modern but has a charm that feels like home.
