Hi, I’m Marney - your Organiser, Planner and Creator of all things FUN! Hi, I’m Marney. My name means “fun” in Hebrew.

Located on the Sunshine Coast, I specialise in Social, Corporate and Networking events. Not really, but that would be cool hey! Apparently it actually means “from the sea” or “ocean”, which funnily enough I relocated to the Sunny Coast to be closer to the ocean. So it must be a sign. I’m a Mum of 3, a wife of 1 and a friend to lots of awesome people. When I tragically lost my Dad in 1996 and then

I had a near death experience in 2004, I was shown just how precious life is and that it can be taken at any time. So what did I do, I grabbed life by the balls and made sure I lived life to the absolute fullest! I have travelled extensively, partied like there’s no tomorrow and ensured that if my life did in fact end today, that I would die knowing that I totally gave it my all and be remembered for that. No regrets and no what ifs. Throughout my whole life, I have been the organiser for my family and friends. Arranging all the social events, Christmas parties, girl’s weekends, surprise parties and fundraisers. Why? Because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I have now put all my love, passion, organization skills and excitement into ‘Social Fix’ to create a fun life for you! I’m very experienced at “taste testing” wine, been known to have the odd dance on top of a table and unfortunately for everyone around me, love a good Bon Jovi sing a long. My husband is a lucky man! Ha ha

So, if you are too busy, too unsure or just too lazy to go out there and create a social life for yourself? No problem!! I’m here for you! Let’s get you laughing, dancing, mingling and LOVING life, not just living life. I can arrange, create or find the event for your social outing, organise your transport to and from the event and also offer lots of other super cool stuff to help you sit back and enjoy your little shindig. Whether you want to go wild or keep it mild, I’ll create it and deliver it in an awesome little package for you. You: “But I don’t have any friends!”

The universe has tested him big time this last year and he’s reminded the cosmos who’s in charge.

I’m recycling this photo from last year because I haven’t even had the time nor energy to create a new one.

Just when I thought 2023 was my worst year ever, 2024 came along and said f you lady!

So……surely 2025 is my year!

And here’s my hot tip, if you’re thinking of building a new house - don’t! Or at least find a good builder. I’m sure they do exist somewhere.

Well that was one absolutely horrendous year for our family (with a few good things thrown in) but overall, I can’t wait to see the back of it.

SocialFix sure did take a back seat this year whilst we mourned a few family deaths and we’re still dealing with a few major sicknesses to end the year 😔

But next year is a new year, new excitement and new events!!

This is me done for the year….Have a great Christmas and a Kick Arse New Year!!
