I recently received an email from a potential participant asking for clarity about the difference between the consent workshop and the Temple space.

I thought it would be helpful to share some insights and differentiate the two.

In the consent workshop, we incorporate practices that support embodied self-knowledge, self-enquiry, de-shame the development of the e-r0-tic self, and encourage empowered choice and voice.

This includes tracking your yes, no, or maybe, and delving into Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent, where we explore the dynamics of taking, allowing, giving, and receiving. Through practices like waking up the hands, the three-minute game, and the Bossy massage, where we cultivate a deeper understanding of our desires and boundaries.

The Temple space, on the other hand, focuses on the embodied experience of pleasure and aliveness—your Eros.

Here, we prioritise cultivating and following the sensations of e-r0-tic pleasure and joy, steering away from normative sexual scripts and embracing a non goal oriented approach. It's in this space that we create new pathways to pleasure.

In the Temple, you get to explore your resilient edge of resistance, integrating what you've learned in the consent workshop. It's a space where every part of you is welcomed into exploration.

The Temple experience consists of two parts. The first part is facilitated with practices designed to take you deeper into your e-r0-tic exploration, desires, and pleasure by awakening the sensual body. The second part is an open play space where you can explore in a transpersonal way, choosing your own experience. There will be different space holders and facilitators present to support and serve you in this journey.

Hey loves, it's that time again already 🙌

We are only two weeks away from our 2nd edition of Eros temple in Melbourne!

After a successful 1st event we are super excited to see what the 2nd one has in store!

For those of you who don’t know what we are about. We are a bimonthly event that focuses on conscious relating, intimacy, connection, consent, sacred seggsuality and a sprinkle of k-in.k and B-D-S-M 😏

This space is for everyone!

So if you are new to these types of events and are looking for new connections or deepen the one you are in, it's for you.

If you are well experienced and are looking for something different, then this is for you.

This will be a mixed gender, mixed seggsuality event 🌈 we try to keep the numbers fairly even and have a application only and slow release for male tickets.

We have a delicious mix of different facilitators and space holders for the open play space. So if you are looking to experience some body work, or maybe some Sh***ri, or if you would like to fil your touch bucket up. Then we would love to invite you along to play.

Juliette picked up a rope in the first Melbourne lockdown and hasn’t put it down since. She is fascinated by the many unique ways Sh***ri connects people through the medium of rope, in a manner that explores, transcends, and challenges our pre-existing notions of what it means to relate with another human being.

Juliette is an international instructor and performer, drawing people into her engaging and entertaining shows in Australia and overseas. She teaches her art at Peer Rope Melbourne, passionately sharing her love for all things rope and consent-based practice with her students.

Dedicated to the path of mastery, Juliette has trained extensively with teachers such as Scott Haruteru (Yukimura-ryu), Harli Adalia (Adalia Sh***ri Studi), Ash Snare (Rope Dojo), Von Riga and Melbourne Community Rope, as well as interstate and international teachers Kinoko Hajime, Yagami Ren (Yagami-ryu), Tamandua, Supaku (Kanna-ryu), and Tifereth.

Celebrating One Year of Growth, Expansion, and Connection at Eros Temples! 🎉

Hello beautiful humans 👋

I can't believe it's been one year!! What a wild journey!!

For me, attending Temples has increased my ability to interact with others safely and harmoniously. I have sky rocketed my personal growth and connection to myself. I have fully claimed my pleasure, my body, and my voice.

Once a people pleaser, afraid to speak up or cause a ripple , I can now proudly say I am a speaker at Sexpo, an international best-selling author and one of Queensland's leading Ta***ic Pro Domme 🔥

All of this started when I attended my first Temple, which was run by Nic (my now business partner!). By leaning into my sexual curiosities, I was able to strip back the shame surrounding my body image and my sexuality to fully claim my authentic self.

We have been wanting to introduce consent fairies into the space for a while - the idea is that our consent fairy is the eyes and ears of consent and boundaries! Keeping a little eye on everyone's nervous systems, attuning to the space, and providing emotional support for our participants ♥️

A degree qualified counsellor, currently studying post grad qualifications in mental health and neuroscience, Gabriella also has 15+ years experience hosting and facilitating experiences across multiple, multiple modalities.
(Current juiciest offerings: Platonic Pleasure sessions, Art of Facilitating workshops, and acroyoga classes!)

With a heavy focus on Polyvagal Theory and the importance of healthy co-regulation, Gabriella will be in the space to keep an eye out not just for those who might be struggling with articulating their clear Yes or No, but also for those who may be having a moment of overwhelm at all The Temple space can bring up. By offering a steady, grounded, curious, and non-judgemental presence, Gabriella will be there to offer all the extra support you may need.

Alma Flow will be gracing us with her presence and exquisite flow on Saturday night with a Temple Opening Performance 🔥

Creating performances for Alma means more than exhibiting a show. The word Alma is the Spanish for “soul” and it is from this concept that she develops herself as an artist. Her vision alludes to the infinite potential within each human being and the vast variety of ways in which souls can manifest in this plane. This process is constantly changing, yet something always remains: the essence, the soul, and the eternal flow of the present moment.​

Alma's passion for dance and art has accompanied her throughout her life, but it wasn't until a few years ago that she decided to go all-in and make them the heart of her journey becoming a professional performer and creating her own entertainment firm, Alma Flow.

She loves playing with the fusion of different dance genres such as belly dance, femme, cabaret, and contemporary, alongside the artistry of prop manipulation, including fire and silk veil dance, among other captivating flow art techniques.

Regardless of its form, all of her creations are unified under one main characteristic: a remarkable emotional embodiment.

We can't believe it - it's the last temple of the year! We've made it through 2023 🔥 and man, have we learnt a lot during this time. So much keeps shifting, changing, and expanding us in ways we never imagined.

We've got some big plans for next year! We're exploring the possibility of taking Eros interstate to Victoria, and we're currently on the hunt for the perfect venues. Plus, we're looking at a new venue on the Sunshine Coast. So stay tuned for updates on both.

We also have some sexy new branding coming your way. Our girl is working on a fresh, juicy 💦 new look that we can't wait to share with you 😏

Hey Loves 🌹

I would love to share with you how significant temple spaces have been, not just for myself but also for what it makes available in my relationship. Each space is so different, each one with its own medicine. An opportunity to explore yourself, as well as your edges.

I find that running these spaces feels more natural for me. There's a level of safety in being a facilitator. Then, when I have an opportunity to explore someone else's space, I feel as though I open myself up to a whole new layer of vulnerability. It's an opportunity to integrate and embody all that I facilitate.

I often feel nervous when it comes to sharing and asking for what I desire. Connecting to my needs hasn't come super easy to me. This is a space for me to explore that.

My partner, on the other hand, knows what they want and will happily await multiple hands, haha.

I find it fascinating witnessing myself in these spaces, I get to be present and feel my body as I navigate different dynamics. That's why I find these spaces so healing. They offer you something you don't find in many other social settings or gatherings.

My communication has improved, and my understanding of my nervous system and my capacity to hold myself has expanded. I get to witness my partner in their bliss, meeting their needs, while I get to meet mine. We get to play together as well as apart. It brings so much energy to our relationship. It's fun, it's playful, it's new and different every time. It supports us in deepening our intimacy.
