Hi All,
We have had a request from My Ambulance Wish for a photographer that may be able to photograph a Committment Ceremony at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital at 1:30pm tomorrow?
Their normal photographers aren’t available and they are in desperate need of help for this wish.
I believe this is a Palliative care situation. If you are available and are willing to provide your services please let me know asap and I can put you in touch with the right person.💜

We're so sad to let you know that lovely Jared went home on 2nd September. He married his love, Eve, in a stunning ceremony in Brisbane in July. Our hearts go out to his new bride and his family - such sad news - he was just about to turn 35 😟😔😪

One of our brides from 2015 has written a book about her journey from terminal to remission - and I'm so excited to be MCing the book launch tomorrow night at 26 Degrees, Rumba Resort, Caloundra. I'd love to see you there - it starts at 5.30pm and will go til about 8.30pm. Entry is $50 and you'll get a signed copy of the book and hear Alli talk about her journey of healing with Cannabis oil - you'll learn heaps, probably cry some, and laugh some. How gorgeous are these images from who captured Jared and Eve's stunning Brisbane wedding on Saturday. I just love the look of joy on Jared's face as he looks at her 🥰 makes a girl's heart melt for sure. After their first date, Eve messaged her friend and said, "oh great, I'm in trouble, he has tattoos - I'm in love already." 🥰 They are so much in love, have faced lots of tears but they're just trying to fill their time together with experiences and their love. Getting married fits into both of those categories. It was such a pleasure to get you two married. You're part of our MWW family now. Well, what a day Saturday was as our Brisbane MWW crew came together to get Jared and Eve married at the botanical gardens. Jared's diagnosis was only recent and to be told you have a terminal illness and the prognosis isn't great, well your priorities change, that's for sure. His priority was to marry his girl - because love is really all that matters.

Today's we remember Hayley and Trevor's gorgeous Gold Coast ceremony on this day in 2017. Hayley was diagnosed with bowel cancer and fought hard, absolutely loving the idea of the wedding of her dreams, to the man of her dreams and our Gold Coast crew did not disappoint. Hayley was a joy to work with, and we were so thrilled she was able to have this amazing experience and leave such precious memories for her family. The photos say it all. Today we think of Neil and Linda's heartbreaking 2018 ceremony bedside in Brisbane after a lung transplant failed leaving the family devastated. Our hearts go out to Linda and the children, though the beauty is that Neil was so adamant to be married to his lady - and that sort of love should be celebrated. Every day. Today we remember Ash and Jana's stunning ceremony in ACT on this day back in 2016. With a series of operations and setbacks from brain surgery their planned wedding on the Gold Coast couldn't go ahead so we called on our ACT team to pull their Canberra ceremony together in a gorgeous chapel wedding. Though this was Plan A, the Plan B was a small legals only wedding at home, and the Plan C was bedside in hospital. We were all so thrilled when we found out they could move forward with Ash and Jana's Plan A. We think of Donna and Jason today, the recipients of MWW's last Renewal of Vows ceremony, who celebrated their love on this day back in 2017 on the Sunshine Coast in what is out biggest celebration yet. Donna, the author of children's book, "Why my mummy" battled fiercely with breast cancer, and we along with the Sunshine Coast community, were devastated when she went home 2 years and 3 months later. Donna's funeral, conducted by our CEO, Lynette Maguire, was a packed house and there was not a dry eye to be seen as over 200 people remembered her bright, sunshiny personality. MWW's first Renewal of Vows occurred on this day, back in 2015 where Alli and John celebrated their relationship on a sweet little ceremony on the Sunshine Coast. Our CEO, Lynette Maguire conducted the ceremony and soon because quite close to Alli during her battle with a very rare liver cancer. Fast forward to today, and Alli is soon to be a published author, telling her story about going from a terminal diagnosis to a cancer free diagnosis. Lynette has written the forward for her book and will be MCing the book launch scheduled for August. Today we celebrate the wedding of Richard and Cathrine and remember their ceremony on this day back in 2016 at with an amazing array of suppliers who so generously gifted their services to make this dream come true. You can read their story on our website about Richard's battle with colorectal cancer, and of course their wedding. Richard went home just 6 months later. Though we're sad for Cathrine, we were thrilled to hear she has found love again and we wish her a lifetime of happiness.

Today we remember Andy's family who are now part of the MWW family when Andy married Emma at the Sunshine Castle on this day back in 2016. Family and friends celebrated as they celebrated their love, and as we all cheered on. 🥰 Our fabulous Sunshine Coast suppliers really went over and above to make their dream wedding come true. 😍
Sadly, Andy who was diagnosed with bladder cancer went home in June the following year, leaving his family lonely for his big personality and gorgeous smile. 😭 One of Andy's bucket list items was to be a brand ambassador so we asked him to be ours. 💕 We miss you xx 💕

Damian and Roda has ever with our Sunshine Coast suppliers gifting them an amazing themed wedding at . There were lots of laughs and lots of love and our couple ingrained themselves into our hearts. Damian, diagnosed with cystic fybrosis went home just four months later. So today, we're sharing their love to honour their love. 💕 ❤️‍🩹

Tracey & Colin's hospital bedside wedding on this day back in 2019 was one for the books for us. Tracey, diagnosed with lung cancer was in end of life care and she and Colin really wanted to marry - they'd been together for a long time, and being married just never happened. It was a heartfelt ceremony and you can see the raw emotion in the photos. Our Wish Leader and Celebrant Gail Cremen - Civil Marriage Celebrant pulled out all the tools in her celebrant toolkit to deliver a moving ceremony, which despite initial paperwork issues, was able to marry them. Thinking of Colin and family today on their wedding anniversary, and tomorrow on the anniversary of her going home just one day later. The story is on our website if you'd like to read more. xx
