6 weeks on the road in sunshine and I kindly bring it back to sunny coast with me🌞. Beach swim, loads of washing, impromptu cocktails at Pammy’s. Dawn walk with the “table of knowledge” girls. Clean car and a load of fruit including pineapple at Erbachers. Missed that pineapple and my tribe. In my happy place.

Not much time spent in the van in the last week. More about begging a bed in a real home with real friends. So many catch ups even if the photo was forgotten to be taken in the moment. A show or too to fill in the days is always Melbourne. Hattie the van is a bit scared of the busy roads though.

Just hit Victoria and will need to wean off these south Aussie Icecreams. Might not be hard when I am adding a blanket in the bed each night and even had to find socks once more. In Nelson, with more seagulls than human folk.

This makes it worth the 3000km drive, the constant heat and the persistent flies. Big day at our famous Aussie centre. I can highly recommend Emu Run Tours for a day trip from Alice. Great food, great stories and finally someone else behind the wheel rather than me.

Fascinating history at Hermannsberg and Ntaria along with the old telegraph station north of Alice. Getting around to the sites before the heat of the day sets in. Still time to Marry an Alice couple. One month notice and we could get you married by Nov 20th.

The new toolbox for celebrants. Covid 19 has seen us get creative with shuffling and being flexible to the changes thrust upon weddings every which way we turn! Feeling so sorry for couples who started their day with champagne and anticipation and end it with text messages and tears.
