Over the past eight years I have been lucky enough to help hundreds of couples say "I do". Couples from every walk of life and from all around the world, even a few from my home country of Canada. But not until recently, had it been someone from not only Canada, but from the same province of Alberta, the same small city of St. Albert, the same suburb (houses three streets away) and to top it all off, had graduated from the same High School! 'Small world' doesn't even cut it. Thank you Daniel and Alanna for this special time together and for letting me be a part of your day (and for the 'Alberta' coffee mug brought all the way from St. Albert!) Congratulations ❤️

I was lucky enough to be witness to 12 hours of fun, laughter and so much love with Gabby and Tim earlier this month. Such a special couple who were smiling from ear to ear from start to finish and who were surrounded by amazing supportive family and friends ❤️. "Lorna is AMAZING. Lorna was our celebrant and also our on the day coordinator for our private property wedding. From the onset Lorna was calm, professional, warm, approachable and kind. Lorna is a quick problem solver and has creative solutions. Lorna would respond to every text, call and email in a timely manner and no job was too big. Lorna really allowed my husband and I to completely enjoy our wedding day, and take away the stress as things popped up throughout the evening. I couldn’t recommend her enough!"

Hugs and more hugs. I love hugs, the bigger the bear hug the better I say. And if you know me, then you probably already know this fact. So I was very happy when I received photos from Kim who recently got married (and the one being tightly squeezed on this particular hugging occassion). Thank you for catching this cute moment on Kim and Larry's day 😘. And thank you Mr and Mrs Cullen for your kind words "Lorna was such a wonderful part of our ceremony and intimate day. Four years ago today, on the 22nd of April 2017, Steven and Michelle were married at sunrise at Alexandra Headland Beach. I had the honour of being there with them to hold a very spiritual and heartfelt ceremony with them. We wrote the ceremony together the three of us to make sure that every heartfelt emotion and deeper meaning of their love was expressed.

It is with a very heavy heart that I say today, on their fourth wedding anniversary, that very sadly Michelle Card passed away last week.

Today many gathered to honour and celebrate Michelle and the beautiful person she will always be to everyone who knew and loved her.

Sending all of my love to Steven Card and Michelle's family and friends at this difficult time. ❤

Last month I got to spend the entire day and evening with Yasmane and Justin as their celebrant and MC. It is a very special experience being there not only for the ceremony but then having the chance to get to know all the family and friends during the reception.
All the guests were up for a good laugh on the night but none more so than (swipe) Daniel (who couldn't get in enough song requests with Nick or heckling me to be fair).
So when the dance floor got going and '500 miles' by The Proclaimers came on, how could I say no 🤣 .

Sometimes I meet couples who seem too good to be true, so genuinely kind, thoughtful and down right nice people. That is exactly how I felt every moment I spent with Kylie and Clint. When I met their family and friends it all started to make even more sense, this beautiful couple were raised by incredible parents and surround themselves everyday with genuine, down to earth people who would do anything for them and vice versa. So when I received their kind words after the wedding it was just the icing on the cake and I feel incredibly grateful for my time with Mr & Mrs Benard ❤ "We could not have hoped for a better celebrant and MC for our Sunshine Coast wedding! From our first zoom chat with Lorna we were able to chat freely and easily about us and what we wanted to achieve for our wedding. On the wedding day itself, we could not have been more impressed. The ceremony that Lorna created was so completely in tune with us and our vision. It was personal and sweet and delivered beautifully. We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding ceremony they'd ever attended because of these personal touches. Lorna was always so professional and friendly, it felt like a family member was with us on the day. She devoted equal time and energy for the bride and groom, while also managing to include and embrace the family throughout the day.
We are so thankful we decided to get Lorna to MC the reception as well, she did an excellent job, kept everything flowing nicely, helped us trouble-shoot changes and always checked in with us.
