Painted Crayfish are sometimes
overseen by its distant cousin the Southern Rock Lobster.
They've generally got a muddier flavour than the Rock
Lobsters making for a more meatier salty flavour. Found in
Tropical waters in Australia, Fiji, PNG, the Solomons and even
Japan.
These ones were caught off Townsville and got smashed at a

Super simple over the BBQ, lashings of Garlicky Herb Butter,
Fried Curry Leaf, Shaved & Pickled Eschallot, Furikake,
Lemon. Enjoy with a nice Rose or Chardonnay!!

A few weeks back we helped out an amazing woman
and her organisation for a special event with 80
delegates from around the world.
a local indigenous enterprise comprised of
many arms and avenues, from to
native fruit orchards to helping out youth that need :
leg up or just some guidance Terri and her team do it
all.
We had the easy job of showcasing their fruits from
"Galeru" in a high tea held on the property for the
Social Enterprise World Forum.
