Let’s talk sustainable fabrics ……

This beautiful back shot shows off the lovely Lucy in her wedding gown. Lucy loved the fact that I am passionate about sustainability and sourcing my materials and fabrics locally. For her dress we chose the most delicate Chantilly organic french lace as an overlay for her sweetheart bodice which came from a UK established supplier. Whilst not made in the UK, this lace fabric is organic, and therefore a more conscious choice .

The main fabric is a heavy silk double Georgette, sourced locally to where the dress was made back in the UK with GOTs certification.

Now that I am based on the Sunshine Coast, I am on the hunt for sustainable materials on this side of the world.

If you’re a bride looking for a more conscious choice when it comes to what your dress is made of and how and where it is made, please get in touch. I make all the dresses myself by hand, putting time, effort and lots of love in to each and every gown I make. ❤️

This Luxurious sustainable crepe dress with open back and thigh high split detail will have heads turning . It has that right balance of paired back luxury with alluring charm.

Made from a UK sourced sustainable heavy crepe fabric, it has a wonderful drape and handle and feels beautiful on.
