I finished 2024 on an absolute high by fitting in a newborn session with this gorgeous little guy below, a family session with Irish visitors and a wonderful 90th birthday celebration, in the days following Christmas.

I'm meant to be on a little work break, but it turns out I love my work so much that I can't stay away!!

Isn't he perfection!!! We had the most amazing session, and it was just the most magical way to finish an incredible year!

I'm so tired right now that I could curl up like this little girl and sleep for a week, possibly longer.

But gosh it's been an amazing year. Brett and I were out watering the veggie garden tonight and dreaming about what we would do if we won LMCTs $8mil.... and yes there's lots we would do. But one thing wouldn't change, I would still want to photograph babies every week (well maybe the occasional week off). But you get the idea!!

That's how much I love this. How much I enjoy meeting each and every baby. How much I love getting to know families.

It's just my most favourite thing ever.

I'll never have Monday-itis when I get to be in the studio meeting perfect babies like this darling girl.

What better way to spend my Christmas EVE EVE, than to have been with this beautiful family. We had such a lovely newborn session yesterday - (I wanted to keep photographing for hours more 😍🤣).

Happy Christmas EVE beautiful people!!!!!

Wow, what a wild and wonderful Christmas season it's been. It started in October and then I blinked and here we are on Christmas Eve.

SIXTY.... yes SIXTY Christmas mini sessions!!!

No wonder I haven't slept much or had a day off. It's been fun and chaos and cute and cheeky. There has been laughter, fart jokes, a little bribery and some special happy tears.

To each and every person that chose to come and get some special Christmas photos with me, I thank you with all my heart. I genuinely LOVE seeing you and your children. It means the world to me to get to make beautiful photos for you.

Welcome to "What if.... Wednesday"

What if my child doesn't cooperate?

This is probably one of the most common concerns of parents. Whether you're coming in for a newborn session and your toddler is adjusting to the new family dynamic, or you're coming for a Christmas mini session and there's a time pressure, it can all be stressful and a bit overwhelming.

My job is to make it less stressful and to actually make it fun!!

I really believe that kids do the best they can with the skills they have at the time.

Your children will always be met with patience, a sense of humour and lots of love when they visit my studio.

And, I have lots of little tricks and games to get kids involved and enjoying it all.

My hope is that kids enjoy their time in my studio and leave looking forward to the next visit.

I've been working MAD hours for the last 2 months and not had a day off... but this afternoon I took my work hat off for a few hours and put my mum hat on to watch my beautiful girl dance with the Victorian State Ballet.

She was absolutely breath taking and I cried the whole way through.

I'll be back on the computer editing madly soon but for now I'm soaking up this beautiful afternoon 🥰

People are really excited about getting their photos, especially the Christmas and Santa ones.

And I love that you're excited. But I think a lot of people don't realise what this time of year is like for photographers and how busy we are. I haven't had even ONE full day off work since September. I'm not even kidding.

LOVED having this gorgeous little newborn in my studio for Christmas photos!! And yes, I snuck a wrap around him for a quick "newborn" photo too!!
