Let's face it, babies are the boss of the session!! They want a feed, they get a feed. They want a cuddle, they get a cuddle. They want to play a staring game... I'm all for it!!

But I always get sleepy little baby photos too!

Best of both worlds. Isn't she just absolutely scrumptious!!!

Completely and utterly impossible to pick a fave from this session. I had to do 'eeni, meeni, minee, moh' because I just couldn't choose!!

🎄✨ Santa’s Post Office is now open at The Dandy Lion Studio! ✨🎄

It’s that magical time of year. This time the studio transformed into Santa’s Post Office — a place where wishes are written, decorated, and sent straight to the North Pole.

From November 5th, everyone’s welcome to drop by and write a letter to Santa (or Mrs Claus — she’s the one really keeping the sleigh running on time, after all).

We’ll have everything you need — beautiful paper, stickers, pens, and stamps and more — to make your letter extra special.

For just $3, your letter will be carefully sealed, sent off with a touch of Christmas magic, and you’ll even receive a reply from the North Pole!

Be sure to get your letters in before December 15th so the elves have time to write back.

And if you’d like to hand-deliver your letter, you’re in luck — Santa himself will be making an appearance at the studio:

Who's ready for Christmas minis??

I can't wait!!

It's my favourite time of year and I absolutely thrive on the chaos of minis and getting to see so many gorgeous kids and wonderful families!!

I've been having the most wonderful time branching into a new genre (new to me) this year!!! I didn't think I could love anything as much as I love babies, but there's something incredibly special about getting to remind a woman how absolutely BEAUTIFUL she is!!!

Each person comes in with a mix of nerves and excitement... and by the time they leave they are feeling AMAZING!! We have so much fun. I see a transformation in front of my camera as we talk and play dress ups and laugh together.

I've had SOOOOO many grand plans lately and most of them have been sidelined by illness.
I've been on the verge of releasing mini session dates/times for this weekend and next weekend but could feel the sickness coming and now it's here. 😭🤒

So I haven't forgotten all you wonderful people waiting on minis... I'm just too unwell to work.

I'm getting through snippets of editing between naps when I can, but otherwise out of action for a few days.
