HI All, We are so sad to announce the BOM has upgraded their wind warnings to 35-55km tomorrow.

Some comfort food on a rainy day 🌧
Indulging in some samp and beans (Umngqusho) today. This is my own version of Umngqusho, this is a South African traditional dish which is pretty popular in most households.

We have recently started a veggie patch in our backyard. It’s fun spending time in the garden, especially for kids. We are growing some cucumbers, tomatoes, silverbeet, beetroot, cos lettuce, chillies and herbs. That will save us a bit of money and we get to eat more nutritious food.

When you cook food with fresh produce from your own garden, it just taste even more delicious 😋

Looking forward to eventually harvesting what we have grown.

Running mom

One thing about going for walks with my son is I always end up running because I have to keep up with him 😅 so there’s never a dull moment.

I love these active moments, we get to play outside and also get a workout😅

Mommy diaries

So, this morning I was in a mad rush to get ready for school drop off and almost missed out on connecting with my son.
I didn’t realise I put on two different shoes 😅 until half way of school.
Aidan thought that my shoe dilemma was hilarious so something good came out of that because I got a cheerful boy going to school this morning.

This whole shoe thing reminded me to not sweat the small stuff, be in the moment and laugh at myself sometimes 😅

A family that walks together stays together.

Life can get hectic sometimes, going for walks with my tribe clears my head and gets me energised. It’s a great time to bond while enjoying being outdoors.
