I’m sure we all read what happened with a certain business owner today in court. “Pleads guilty to displaying hate symbols in public”. Interesting to see the likes of Broadsheet and other media outlets cover this story which directly involves the Jewish community, yet when it comes to celebrating good things about Jewish businesses,🤐

Oh, the irony! For five years, we’ve had every move we make breathlessly reported by Broadsheet, Sydney Morning Herald, Time Out, Good Food, Concrete Playground….you name it. They’ve practically been on speed dial, recycling the same stories about us over and over. But now? We open a new store in Bondi, with a full new dine in concept, take away garage, deli room, right in the heart of the Jewish community, and suddenly... crickets. Not a peep from any of them.

Well, one media outlet did reach out, but after we replied and followed us, Ghosted. You’d think we vanished. Makes you wonder if us offering Jewish style food and being Jewish business owners has something to do with it…. I wonder!

Fortunately, we’ve never needed the press anyway—our Jewish and non Jewish community has been nothing short of amazing. But yeah, six major outlets going radio silent? I’m sure it’s just a coincidence…😂
