Fairlight Folk concerts are held quarterly at the beautiful church venue at William Street Fairlight . We are currently in hiatus until the Covid 19 situation becomes clearer. Our last gig was Feb 2020 and all other gigs were cancelled
Fairlight Folk Acoustic Lounge is the brainchild of a group of dedicated volunteers, musicians and friends from Sydney’s northern beaches, united by a passion fo
r great music. They set up Fairlight Folk to promote the vibrant musical culture that operates largely outside the mainstream music scene, and beyond the reach of the predictable formats of music radio. They wanted to share their passion with an audience that’s hungry for diverse and authentic music, delivered in an environment that’s warm, relaxed and inviting. And to do it all at an affordable price. Fairlight Folk offers consistently high quality music ranging from Celtic and traditional folk to blues to world to a capella to soul, and showcases bands and singer-songwriters who are established or emerging acts. The unifying theme is that the music is mostly acoustic (but not exclusively so), suited to delivery in an intimate and relaxed environment.

Fairlight folk wishes everyone a safe and peaceful Easter weekend. We have postponed all our upcoming gigs for 2020, including Daoiri Farrell on May 30th, until we know we can restart. Any online sales are being refunded. In the meantime, check into music events online, watch online house concerts, buy CD's, support the arts and the artists. We all know that the arts are our soul food and in this time we need that more than ever.

What a cracker of a night!!
We're still buzzing from SON lighting up our stage, warming our hearts and leading an all-star encore. Our full house couldn't get enough!
An end of evening all out jam was a generous & perfect way for Susan to finish her set- Blowing in the wind, Raglan road & Loch Lomond ❤️ I think we are all in love with SON .
We wish her well on her tour & hope to catch up at another point on the journey.
