Twas once upon a Sept 5th day that I rocked up to fancy schmancy restaurant, disgused as a crap waitress with tickets on herself!

When all at once, BAM! Apron off. Shirt ripped off! Sequins blinding guests. Their minds 💨💨

I’ve been rocking the old “watch me pull a sequin outta thin air” trick ever since. And it never gets old. 🙌🏼

4 years later? Still serving looks and legit ceremonies.

There was movement at the brewery, for the word had got around that a “rogue aunty” had crashed Tahlia and Bevan’s engagement bash.

She was loud, she was brash, she would not shut up. Then with a flick of her coat this “crazy lady from WA” revealed she was in fact…an undercover marriage celebrant “Buckle up party people “ she announced as she took control of the mic. “We’re having us a hitching” 🙌🏼💃🏻🚰⁣

Punny bits: Guests were frothing as the bar was raised on saying Ale Do with a custom IPA brew! From swiping on pitcher perfect profiles to frothy adventures on tap we traversered their tale. Hilarity of course ensued!⁣

Do yourselves a favour people! Have a surprise wedding in a brewery! It’ll be later than life 🍺⁣

From the get go Zoe was a dream to work with, very passionate, very fun, very easy to design and execute a wedding well suited to us. POV: You’re a guest at Skye and Mitch’s wedding. Waiting for the usual ho-hum beginning.

Then suddenly you hear the beat drop. Dua Lipa? WTF?

The 💃🏻🎤celebrant says: You all have to cheer for me - it’s in the Marriage Act. Look it up.

Bewildered but amused you start cheering. Is she pretending to be surprised and humbled? Who is this lady?

She gets to the front and says: Buckle up legends. This ain’t no ordinary wedding.

And somehow you believe her. Maybe this ceremony won’t suck after all.

Pre- hitching shenanigans are my jam. Amps up the vibe. Breaks the glaciers of awks. Let’s ya peeps know we’re rolling loud and unapologetically alive.

Origin story: 3 years and 3 months ago I did my first hitching. A surprise wedding no less. I pretended to be a waitress until I dramatically removed my denim shirt to expose my undercover status and sequins (still slayin the sequin reveal btw) ⁣

At that moment I knew. Watching jaws drop to the floor. Hearing bigass belly laughs. Gasping in awe as two lovers took a leap of faith. I was hooked. This was the life for me.⁣

Cos by the time we got to their wedrocking day I was head over heels crushstruck! It wasn’t hard. They’re delicious. Just look at the killer frames by

I poured my little hitcher’s heart into finding what made them giggle and tick. There was also the full on slip and slide into their story, exploring every nook and cranny of their meet cute. I tested the waters with my humble wit to see what would be the perfect punny fit! I even typed fast and furious notes as they hyped their human behind their back! And I packaged it all up into one of kind tale full of hilarity and heart!⁣

THE INK SLINGER WHO LOVED ME

It was a freezing cold morning in The Riff 🤘🏼when ink slinger Brooke busted through the front door of Crossbones tattoo shop like a bat outta hell.⁣
⁣
Running late, all she wanted was to get to her work space and get inking and ripping. And then…she saw her.⁣
⁣
“Who’s that bae sitting in my bay” she thought, a little hot, and oh so bothered as she savoured the unexpected sight. ⁣
⁣
But alas, body parts were waiting to be adorned so with haste she walked up to Lady… Diana…D, looked her straight in the eyes and said: ⁣
“ You’re perfect, you’re beautiful, you look like Linda Evangelista, you’re a model…but you’re in my chair”⁣
Lady Diana looked up, served a little face, and responded: ⁣
“And?”⁣
“And”… said Brooke, “ You need to sit over there….in the corner.”
Diana gasped in horror. No one puts Diana in the corner.⁣
⁣
BUT… She looked at her new ink that read “ Don’t be shady, be a lady” and did just that, sashaying away nice and slow across the floor.⁣
⁣
As Brooke caught sight of Diana’s mighty fine bootaaay for the very first time, she knew without a shadow of a doubt, she was in so…much…trouble 🔥⁣ And she was right. Exhibit A 💘

Twas one spring night in fair Brissie, that Justice Superhero Dan was having a solo sojourn to recharge his superpowers...and what better way to calm ya farm than with a breezy browse on Tinder to check out the...local sights 💥🕺🏻

But it was only when he extended his search radius to include the baes of Byron that he saw HIM ⚡️…rocking a tux, a smile that could light up Goldie, and a well-struck pose next to a statue of Ronald McDonald. Twas HE of bulging biceps and peekaboo pecs... Ben!

What started as a swipe turned into a steamy smooch on an elevator ride to the dizzying heights of Cloud 9...that's when they knew their freshly caught feels were a once-in-a-lifetime kinda sitch ❤️

And the rest as they say... is an adventure yet to be written.

I’m part wedding nerd, part funny best friend and part uber profesh organiser. Years in marketing and events have morphed me into a pocket rocket of a kick- ass celebrant who knows how to tell a really good love story with words that hit you right in the feels.
