We 💛 to pickle!! We pickle fruit and veg all year round but particularly love it in the Spring months when there is an abundance of fennel, carrots, cabbage, asparagus, beans, chilies, beetroot and onions, just to name a few.
While a traditional fermented pickle has huge benefits for your gut bacteria and an amazing way to preserve excess produce, a quick pickle is just as rewarding and also has some dietary benefits. What’s your favourite pickled fruit or veg? 🥒🌶️🥒

Goulash (Hungarian beef Stew) was always a familiar dish in our household growing up.
Recipes vary but all will have a rich sauce of stock, chunks of tender beef, a generous amount of sweet red paprika and soft creamy potatoes or dumpling’s.
This classic European dish that has so many nostalgic memories for me will be making a comeback to the menu very soon!

This has to be one of my all time favourite summer salads. Minimal preparation and some simple fresh ingredients and you have a delicious fresh lunch or dinner. Substitute poached chicken with some tamari roasted tofu pieces. 🥢 What you’ll need: Tamari roasted chicken breast Green tea soba noodles Shaved cabbage Cucumbers Fresh chilli Fresh coriander Shichimi Togarashi (Japanese spice mix) Dressing: Tamari or soy sauce Maple syrup Lime leaf Lime juice Sesame oil Rice wine vinegar Roast or pan fry the chicken until cooked through and add sliced pieces hot or cold to the cooked noodles. Top with your salad bits and a good amount of dressing to coat.
