Update on Pixflix Wedding Films.

For 7 years I have had one of the best jobs ever and that was capturing the incredible moments that people say I Do!

When I got married I realised I wanted to get into the wedding industry and so one of my wife’s friends took a chance on me and gave me that opportunity. Since then I have filmed well over 70 weddings and it has been not only a fulfilling job but also the best learning curve for this industry I am in.

During covid the wedding industry was really hit badly, and the affects of that affected me mentally more so then anything else, and during that time I pivoted and redirected my brand and company. From this redirection it has brought so many new and exciting adventures to me, and has allowed me to grow my business. I was able to go full time into it, get an office, hire an editor and win an award, just to name a few things.

I am now running two businesses, trying to be a father, husband and friend to people, and have found this quite hard at times and there fore I have been struggling with a-lot of things. To be honest I haven’t been able to be the best vendor to my clients lately due to many reasons.

So I have made the decision to take a step back in the wedding industry for now. What does this mean? Well it means that at the moment, I won’t be taking any bookings, unless the couple really wants my company, and I will be limiting the number of these to. But, in the mean time I need to focus my time and energy on and growing and nurturing that business.

I want to thank not only all my past wedding clients, but also all the vendors that I have worked with over the 7 years. Thank you for trusting me and my team over the years, it means the world to me.

The future is always scary and change is hard, but I know that what’s around the corner is exciting. In the meantime, it’s time to finish off the 2022 wedding edit season and get those memories out to them.

This isn’t goodbye, it is just the end of this chapter and the sequel will come one day.

Yesterday was just perfect and it was so good not only to film this wedding but to catch up with so many people from my past.

Like mentioned in my stories I have known the bride since she was a little girl as I used to teach her dancing and I was known as Mr Adam (another lifetime ago).

So to have filmed Liarna's wedding was truely a special experience and therefore I had to put together something really quickly for them last night.

Congrats Liarna & Ezekiel it was an honour yesterday.

What a privilege it was for the Pixflix team to capture the wedding day of Mae and James

Best Step Daughter Speech | Noah's Newcastle NSW | Pixflix Wedding Films

What an incredible day spent with Jenna & Russell.

Russell's daughter was one of the highlights of the day, not only was her speech amazing but throughout the day she helped her step mum, she sang with her dad as he sang a song to his wife and she really is the heart of these two.

Perfect Sunset in the Megalong Valley

Well this weeding was one of my favourites from 2020, and yes there wasn’t many to compare to but on reflection it was everything I love about a wedding day.

Best Party Dancing at a Reception!

When I first meet Jodi and James I knew that not only where they meant to be with each other, but also I knew I needed to be apart fo their day.
It was such a fabulous day and being around them and there love was infectious, to top of the wedding two AMAZING things happened.

Childhood Sweethearts!

Rain didn’t damper this wedding day even if the thunderstorm hit right in the middle of the ceremony. Tegan and Josh’s story is one of fate, they meet as kids and now are husband and wife and have a baby on the way yay!

Springfield House was a delight to work with and I can’t wait to come back to their great venue (that also had great food ☺️.

An Emotional Letter to Groom!

The day started with Mamma Mia movie playing in the background and then ended up at the awesome The Turpentine Tree in Kurrajong Heights. It rained all day but who cares we didn’t and honestly working with Clarity Photography is always a delight. The night had not only an amazing MC but also awesome music vibes.
