Nicholas Clifton, known on stage by his last name, is an aspiring hip-hop artist, based out of Darwin in the Northern Territory.

After a long and traumatic series of events which resulted in his self-removal from his family home at 15 forcing a journey of self-discovery and autonomy at an early age. Struggling through the housing system and living off of minimal government benefits, Clifton spent the majority of his time to himself with headphones in and a phone keypad at his fingertips. In many ways, music helped him overcome his addictive personality and find some true meaning to an otherwise bleak early-adulthood.

Now at 23, Clifton has released two projects; The Rabbit Hole and The Art of Power. These projects symbolise progression through different states of mental insecurities. Coming from a place of vulnerability Clifton hoped these projects would help others through their own struggles.

(Suraeh) was born in the humble Western Suburb’s of Sydney in Granville. Suraeh’s name takes special inspiration from his two hearing-impaired parents, whom are a massive driving force behind Suraeh’s work-ethicSuraeh is backwards for ‘Hear Us’, it means to hear those whose voices are not heard and needs that are not attended too.

The emerging artist has released two EP’s (“Feelings” and “Till death do us part”), over the space of 2020 and dropped “When Did I Ask” and “Dominoes” over the space of 2021! Now, 2022 is looking to be Suraeh’s best year yet, as he continues to release songs such as “Rest Of Our Lives (Ft. Bvle)” and his long awaited single “Heaven Was Wrong”.

Bvle describes himself as a ‘seasoned misfit’, through life he has always felt disconnected and different and that same story follows him in his artistic style.

Although, his music resonates within the hip hop stratosphere, he has a unique sound to him. His sound has elements of Soul, RnB, Rap and Afro and he is consistently able to inject emotion into his music with his tight lyrism, melodic flows and creative adlibs.

His music contains common themes of self-reflection, relationships, loneliness and passion. You will often hear him reflecting on past stories and experiences, speaking of his life growing up in his own world while influenced by his Nigerian culture and upbringing.

Due to the lockdown conditions our team will be unable to deliver an experience to the standards of our crew and audience.
