Alfonse Nguyen (aka the A.L.F., aka First Grandson) was a mighty force in Sydney's underground club music scene. From pushing the sounds of jungle in the early days, through to supporting and promoting a huge number of local and international acts and being a highly respected DJ and producer in his own right - Alf had an impact on so many of us.
Sadly, we lost Alf suddenly in the middle of 2019. This album is a tribute, and a way to help raise funds for his family.
The track "Jubby" was thrown together by best friends and partners in crime Alf and Vice Versa around 2013. After Alf's passing, we somehow came across the stems, shared them with a bunch of Alf's mates and here is the result.

We hope you enjoy the sounds!

1.5 years ago Dan and I made the hard decision of moving on from PLAY BAR because we couldn't see any changes to lockout laws... We were right and in fact hindered any further opportunities for another venue and now festivals. THIS CAN CHANGE TODAY!!!
