Last week our client hosted the launch of cookbook ‘Food Trail: South Africa’ at Sydney’s newest dining hot spot SAFARI.

Following Warren’s gastronomic expedition through South Africa, this cookbook unveils his take on authentic classics and brings to life a spread of new recipes inspired by his travel.

The evening celebrated a taste of these delectable flavours accompanied with a selection of South Africa’s finest wines and was set amongst a Safari-inspired background with Boma dwellings and a central fireplace blending luxury and tradition.

Our client is supporting this year’s - a festival with a conscience; highlighting the best of South African film.

The net proceeds from the festival support .without.borders benefitting children in South Africa.

In support of the launch events, we engaged with an opening drumming performance and also served South African wines on arrival. Guests were captivated by the inspiring movie ‘George Bizos: Icon’ a film about a renowned human rights lawyer and also heard first hand accounts from the Bizos family with a Q&A interview following the film.

The festival runs online and on demand from May 10-30 2024 and in cinemas in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Auckland.

In February, we had the pleasure of partnering with South African Tourism AU for the Mega Lekker Escape in South Africa. 🇿🇦🦁🐘

This inaugural event hosted 90 travel agents from Australia and New Zealand who experienced the best of South Africa on nine simultaneous familiarisation trips across the country. The event culminated in a two-day training event at the stunning Sun City Resort, attended by 130 delegates and South African property operators.

During these 2 days, delegates experienced a safari game drive in the Big 5 Pilanesberg Game Reserve, an Amazing Race throughout Sun City, and one-to-one meetings between wholesalers and South African operators. The event also featured a trivia night set in a traditional outdoor Boma, and an educational evening where agents took to the stage to share their experiences with each other.

We are thrilled to have been a part of this incredible event hosted by South African Tourism.
