Jokes aside, it’s much better to give your dj a list of what you’d like played and when at least one month prior to an important event. We need to locate and download dj-friendly versions of the songs. In some cases, we might need to create edits. This takes time!

Giving a flash drive of tracks for the dj to play is only helpful if it’s given weeks in advance. Low quality files will sound terrible on a big sound system, and sometimes will not even load 😱

We need to familiarize ourselves with your music before we go out and play it in front of your guests. You have given us the job because we are skilled and experienced, but we are not magicians or mind-readers.

Music is important! Don’t leave it to the last minute.
