From 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' to 'Heathers' to 'Mallrats' to '90210' and 'Charmed', Shannen always poured everything she had into the characters she portrayed. The team at Hub were very lucky to host her at several previous events and she was absolutely beloved by her fans and so sweet and kind to the entire team.
She always made sure to greet everyone each day and thank everyone for looking after her.
She fought so bravely for so long and whilst now she can rest, in our hearts and on our screens she will live forever.

With just 1 week to go we are really on the home stretch now and thrilled to add this talented Australian actress, who portrayed the UK Men of Letters’ own “Angry Spice” - Lady Toni Bevell, to our line-up!
Elizabeth is also known for other amazing franchises including Evil Dead and The Vampire Diaries and is sure to have some great stories to tell!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
We will be sending a detailed email to all attendees over the weekend that includes start times for all events.
Tickets are in the mail, but if they don't arrive in time don't fret! You can have them reissued at the door by presenting ID or your order confirmation email.

Joining us is a fan-favourite on the convention circuit, as well as a contributor to the music of Supernatural - the wonderfully talented Jason Manns!
The music rolls on with Billy Moran, Michael Borja and Stephen Norton, aka the other three quarters of Louden Swain!
They (and Jason, and other surprise guests!) will be joining Rob Benedict for the Supernatural concert.
Billy, Michael, Stephen and Jason will also be available for photos and autographs during the day event, but please note that, as they are not Stars of Supernatural, their photos and autographs are not included with Ultimate, Platinum or VIP tickets; however, Billy, Michael and Stephen will include a free autograph with any purchase of Louden Swain merchandise.

The cast of Groundhog Day The Musical Australia invited John Bell and some of the Hub team to attend the show and meet the stars last night! The show was absolutely brilliant! Hilarious songs, mesmerizing sets and perfect casting!
Andy Karl (Phil Connors) and Elise McCann (Rita Hansen) kindly invited us back stage for a chat and a couple of photos after the show and were delightful.

Heads up Hublander attendees!
An email is on its way to all ticket purchasers with more details of the day! There's a ton of important information in the email so please make sure to read it all! The mail system may take a couple of hours to get the email to everyone, so please keep an eye out for an email from [email protected] - and make sure to check your junk mail folder!
If you haven’t attended a Hub event before, you may not be familiar with some of the things detailed in the email, but we promise that reading through the email and listening to the MC on the day will make everything clear! If not, there will be Hub staff available to assist - just look out for the staff in the Hub shirts!
Also, please note that we are extremely close to the event and as such are unable to respond to emails and messages as promptly as you may be used to. Please re-read the email you will be receiving today to ensure your query has not already been answered. If you do still need an answer, Facebook messenger will be the fastest method to contact us.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding SOUVENIR EVENT DVDs
Since 2009, our friends at Turncoat Studios have been producing amazing Souvenir Event DVDs which feature panels and occasional highlights from the weekend. They have enjoyed providing these for many Hub events since.
Starting in 2024 with Hublander, and marking the end of an era, they will be launching an exciting new way to re-live your favourite convention memories with the debut of The Hub Productions’ Souvenir Event USB Drive!
These Collectable USB Drives will be custom made with a design unique to each event and will be filled with all panels from both days of the event, including the limited access VIP panels in glorious HD video compatible with most smart TVs and playable on modern computer systems.
Sadly DVD is no longer the primary way that the majority of people consume their media, and with the continuing advancement in technology, the video quality we were limited to with DVD just isn’t good enough anymore. We are excited to now be able to provide you with HD quality video and audio!
We know this may be disappointing to those who have faithfully collected the DVDs from day 1 and would like to continue their collections. Please know we did not make this decision lightly, and we hope that with these USB Drives you will be able to enjoy re-watching your favourite events for years to come!
The Drives will be available for preorder at the show (available at ½ price for Hub Members holding a VIP ticket or above), and will be made available worldwide via the online Hub store once pre-orders have been filled.
As promised, our second announcement today is a guest and friend that we're sure many of you have been crossing fingers to see again. Teaming up with his partners in fun, we're thrilled to have back Matt "Young John Wi******er" Cohen!
Our next AHBL 12 guests are some old favourites, who'll be new faces to many of our new members! But as any past attendees of our AHBL events can tell you, these guests are the very definition of a good time!
Our first guest has already been talked about; but with his big life changes (i.e. welcoming the beautiful Margaret Vivian Benedict!), we hadn't yet formally announced him. Now, he's confirmed that things are going well and he's definitely coming, so we're very pleased to welcome Rob "Chuck" Benedict!

HUBLANDER TICKET UPDATE!
We've been hard at work allocating all of the Hublander tickets and getting them in the post!
They are officially on their way to you!
SYDNEY ATTENDEES: Thanks to the good folk at UNSW, we’ve moved over to the John Clancy Auditorium, which is the same distance to the carpark as Leighton Hall (but much less steep!) and much closer to the High Street Light Rail stop! (The new venue is on the tickets so you won't get confused on the day!)
Important things to note!:
- If your tickets don't arrive in time, don't panic! (Unfortunately sometimes Australia post fails us!) You can have your ticket re-issued at the door very easily by showing ID.
- If you are flying in from overseas for the event your tickets will NOT be posted, they will be at the door ready for you to pick up on the day. 🙂
- If you are buying tickets after 11/2 your ticket will NOT be posted and will instead be available for collection at the door.
- If you are attending the platinum functions you don't need to bring your ticket as we have a list of platinum attendees to mark you off at the door. (Please bring ID along on the night for this, and so that you can be served at the bar!)
A further email will be sent to ALL ticket holders by the 19th of February with expanded details of the running of the day.
Can't make it to Hublander, but still want to get an autograph from our amazing guests? You can now purchase absentee pack autographs to be sent to you, from the Hub Authentics store: https://thehubproductions.com/product-category/hub-authentics/hublander/
You can choose to have your autograph on an 8x10" photo provided by the Hub Productions, or to send in your own personal item to be signed. Instructions for how to order regular or send in absentee autographs are included with each item in the Hub Authentics store.

We have two pieces of Hublander news today. The first is that our final guest is confirmed, a young man from an upstanding family, Charles Vandervaart, aka William Ransom...or should that be William Fraser? This is Charles' first visit to Australia and we're thrilled to reunite father and son at Hublander!
The second item is that both our Hublander venues are now confirmed; in Sydney it's Leighton Hall at UNSW Kensington, and in Melbourne it's The Timber Yard at Port Melbourne!
