VALENTINES DAY IS COMING… ♥️

When this little Shire florist travels 70km to the Northern Beaches for a gorgeous seaside wedding 🏝️

Our timeline consisted of:

1. Wednesday morning - flower markets to collect all the pretty flowers, vases, boxes and ribbon

2. Thursday - conditioning flowers, flipping roses, creating vase arrangements and bridal party flowers

3. Friday - Realising I needed more flowers! Back to the markets before finishing off the arrangements, filling up petrol, pick up Abi and head to woop woop 🚐

4. Deliver buttonholes + bridal/bm bouquets, bump into drop of vase arrangements to Moby Dicks, create a ceiling wreath install and then head to Wiltshire park in Summer Bay (uh huh, I’m on the set of Home & Away 😉) 1 hour bump in and we created a gorgeous floral arbour! Also bumping into for some kisses 😘

5. Snack break then head back to the ceremony spot where there was absolutely no parking spots in sight!
Drove round and round until we made a decision to park at the other end of the park, walk down a mozzy infested jungle to cut down the arbour flowers. (Sorry Abi)

6. Repurpose arbour flowers and recreate these onto the bridal table at the reception. Finishing touches, shuffle candles, photograph content and remove bits and bobs from the floor.

7. Drive the whole 70km back home, clean out the van, pour myself a wine and dive into bed 😴

In saying that, my van almost didn’t make it home! It decided to overheat just outside my street 🚐

Weddings can definitely be exhausting but I wouldn’t change a fricking thing! Bring on the beautiful events coming in 2024! 🥳
