It is with great sadness I announce the passing of my beautiful and brave Dad, Leslie “John” Stephens.

Dad left this world earlier today peacefully, surrounded by love, devotion, family and friendship.
He taught me that bravery is shown not only on a battle field but in everyday life. He was the most positive, humble, funny and generous man I know. He would light up a room with his smile and cheeky wit, he never complained and faced every challenge with a positive outlook. He was my hero, my best friend.

I will reach out to you personally in the coming days and weeks.

For now I’m taking some time to rest and reflect on the magnificent man I was blessed to call Dad.

Details for his life’s celebration will be shared when the arrangements have been finalised.

No sadness, just happiness and laughter. These were Dad’s wishes for you all.
