At Ananya's Mehendi I spotted her parents affectionately holding hands and I captured that moment. In a conversation with Ananya later, she remarked that her parents were very much in love and went on weekly dates to dine at Harris Park.

On the wedding day, I couldn't resist asking them to display a bit of their love for my camera. I'd like to think these memories of parents at a couple's wedding will probably be the most treasured in times to come.

Bhairave and Suraj and an intimate wedding ceremony set against a stunning sunset at the Woolich Marina.

Surrounded by their nearest and dearest which includes their beloved doggos, they exchanged sweet vows and celebrated in simple fashion with homemade brownies. Always glad to be doing weddings in this family, such a privilege!

Bengali weddings fascinate me. The couples I've had the privilege of making memories have been nothing short of awesome. The crowd that attends these weddings though is a different story, it's akin to having a huge social gathering at a stadium. The couple and the wedding traditions become secondary and all that matters is the chatter and photos on phones for the aunties and uncles.

Thankfully these two managed their families and their crowds beautifully and we didn't have to call the riot police. Be like Shajoti & Auneep. Best!

Gosh this was easy; having people like Mila and Mishka in front of your lens takes away the need to cue, to direct and puts you in the observer seat with your belts fastened for a racy ride.

One with dollops of romance, sensuality and immense fun. F**k yes, it makes all of us at SIAM feel alive everytime we run into magical couples, they speak to our soul.

There was something timeless about the love that Rashmi and Kanwal share.
Bill Withers played on my Bluetooth speaker, as these two snuggled, danced and cuddled through the parks and streets of the Inner West.

When I asked Kanwal what Rashmi meant to him, all that came out were tears. Of appreciation, unbridled love and joy.

I take back slices of these beautiful emotions back home with me and they project in the relationships here. For that, am very grateful for my profession and to the couples who share a joyful slice of their lives with me

They'd chosen a different song, but after shooting Nav's mehendi night, I happened to listen to Sajda (from My name is Khan) and right away I knew that this would be the song that'd best personify their wedding. Barkave and Suthan wanted their all aspects of their wedding to be off the beaten path. We did their pre-wedding shoot at the The Grounds of the City , their location shoot across Stanwell Park and Seacliff Bridge and their reception at the upcoming Wollombi Barnstay. I was personally gutted at not being able to cover their stunning, boutique outdoor reception at the Hunter but Ramsey and Co. did a great job in capturing the essence of their festivities. Right from the first event, Shaz’s bridesmaids involved me in all the dancing routines, be it at the telwaan or the bhatwaan. At their reception on the starship boat, I had the best time dancing with their families and friends who we’d had the pleasure of making acquaintance with over the last week.
