City weddings have their own kind of magic.

Harriet and Daniel’s day at the MCA was no exception. With the Sydney skyline as their backdrop and the softest afternoon light pouring in, we created a floral story that was modern, textural, and full of feeling.

Designing these pieces was such a joy—playing with form, movement and subtle tones to bring their vision to life in a way that felt true to them.

Meet the Florist Behind Nunu Designs!

Hey everyone! I’m Steph, the heart (and often the clumsy hands!) behind Nunu Designs. My love for creativity and flowers led me to floristry, and once I started, I fell completely in love with the art of creating beauty from nature. Every arrangement tells a story, and I feel so lucky to bring those moments to life for my clients!

A few fun facts about me:
✨ I’m incredibly clumsy—so much so that I spend a lot of time laughing at myself. If there’s a group photo, chances are I’m in the background with an awkward facial expression! Thanks to for making me look less awkward in these photos!
✨ I’m a proud mum to Evie + Jack and have been married to my amazing husband, Todd, for nearly 11 years. We tied the knot at Bendooley Estate, so it’s always extra special when I get to create florals there.
✨ Before my floristry days, I was an Australian swimmer! (A little different from arranging flowers, but both require a lot of dedication!)

At Nunu Designs, my mission is simple—I want to make people happy. I put my heart into every single arrangement, ensuring that each piece brings joy and leaves a lasting experience. Creating happiness through flowers is what drives me everyday!

This first photo could not explain my feelings on your wedding day any better. If you could see my grin on the other side. It’s huge!!!
Nothing can describe the feeling I get after I’ve finished creating and get to see the couple enjoying it all after it’s come together. Especially in this case when I had been talking to Sammi for 18months and even better when I know she loves flowers just as much as me.

2025 is looking amazing and I can’t wait for many more tight squeezes and happy tears with our couples!

Ashleigh + Mattia

Planning the florals for this beautiful intimate ceremony was so much fun. It was like I had known Ashleigh for years! The real kicker was when she sent me a video of her surprising Mattia by flying out his parents. This florist 🙋‍♀️ cried her little eyes out and I was so happy to play a part in their day.
