She mentioned how typically makeup artist would opt for the safe browns..but seeing as she was going to the races and wearing something colorful, we embraced some blush and pinky brown tones to add some change!

Weeknight workshop for mother and daughter. Both if them never wear makeup and decided to go on this adventure together. Mum felt that her teenage daughter should be introduced to makeup correctly and focus on creating a natural and soft look. Equally mum has spent all these years raising her little girl and didn't focus on such things, so also wanted to learn and take this journey together. A great session and opportunity for our clients to bond!

My absolutely lovely client . What a beautiful person inside and out. It was so much fun creating this glowy look for her this morning. She looks like a goddess! She wanted a soft glow, where her eyes are a focus, but with in subtle way still. She stresser that she likes blush, natural and light brown tones, so we stuck to that only! A makeup artist needs to listen to her clients, understand their wants and specifics and ensure that they constantly check in with them and show flexibility. At Pencil and Brush we do only that !
