A timely update ♥️
⠀
No doubt, the past 12 months has been the most challenging, confronting tumultuous time of my life. I’ve lost a lot, but at the same time I’ve also gained a lot. Unfortunately my business also took a huge toll with my mental health on the decline for the past year. I was met with the most confronting issues that I never even imagined of ever having to face, and visited the darkest place that I was unsure if I could ever escape from. Fortunately, I found a beautiful support network who have been able to get me back on my feet, and I will forever be grateful.
If you’re curious, I’ve been focusing on my remaining bookings for the past year, and and really struggled to be able to accept or respond to new inquiries. However, this is changing. And through this year, I realise that I need to focus on what’s important; my mental health, as well as my passion for what The Curious Florist will be.
who has been by my side from the day she came to me as a student from , will now be assisting me with getting my business back to how things were, and emails being promptly responded to. Just also wanted to show some appreciation to Peony as she has been the absolute backbone of my life for the past year, not only working with me by my side, but also being my best friend through all the turmoil of what was the past 12 months.
I’ve decided that we will now be only taking 1 - 2 weddings per month, and we will be selecting weddings that line with our personal branding and style. I’m super excited as I know that this will be the right step for my brand which means I’ll be able to put 120% of my passion into each and every booking.
Peony and I will be getting back to current bookings and new inquiries from next week once she has familiarised herself with the booking system. Which also means photos from older events will be posted slowly.
Thank you to each and every person that has been by my side, supporting me, sending me words of encouragement as well as cheering me on from the sidelines. Especially to all my incredible freelancers who has kept us going.
Watch this space. We’re back!
