Nadia Duran plans, designs, styles and produces celebrity and international events all over the world, including Royal weddings in Qatar, Fiji, Italy, Greece, Serbia, Japan, UK, Mexico, among other exotic destinations. In addition to her international experience, Nadia consults restaurateurs and hospitality groups on interior design, to achieve the look and feel of their patron. Multiple industry awards have recognized Nadia Duran experience. In June 2018, Events by Nadia received her 3rd Australian National Award by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy as the best Wedding Decorative Hire Business in Australia. In June 2019, Nadia Duran was awarded by The Australian Bridal Industry Academy as “The Designer of the Decade”.

Today I had the honour of being on The Morning Show on Channel 7 talking all things Christmas and the magic we are creating across Sydney, but what you see on TV is only a tiny part of the journey. I wanted to share a bit of that with you… the real behind-the-scenes of my day, from loading up the decorations to walking into Channel 7 with a mix of nerves and excitement.
Behind every interview, every installation… there is a whole world happening in the background. Driving the truck, preparing the designs, checking every detail in between massive installations, coordinating my team, rehearsing what I want to share, it’s never just ‘show up and talk.’ It’s a whole lot of heart. ❤️

One year ago, something beautiful bloomed in The Netherlands! The VOORN Spray Rose ‘Nadia Duran’
A rose born from passion, creativity, and a dream to connect people through flowers. To celebrate its first anniversary, Nadia Duran and the Voorn Family brought together the entire floral journey; from breeders and growers to exporters, buyers, wedding planners, designers, and hoteliers. Everyone who touches and experiences one of these roses from start to finish was invited to celebrate and be thanked.
This milestone honours the people behind the beauty, the full supply chain that made the success of the Nadia Duran Spray Rose possible. It celebrates collaboration across countries, cultures, and industries.
The celebration took place right in the heart of the Voorn greenhouse, surrounded by rows of Nadia Duran Spray Roses that were just about to bloom. Now, as a new season of Nadia Duran roses gets ready to bloom and be exported worldwide in the coming weeks, gratitude fills the air.
Nadia is proud, proud to have a rose that carries her name, proud of the people behind it, and proud to leave behind a legacy rooted in connection, gratitude, and love. She is also deeply thankful to the Voorn family for their trust, for believing in her story and choosing to name one of their beautiful flowers after her. It’s a gesture that means more than words can say.
