We had an incredible time celebrating Jamaica 62nd Independence Celebration!, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of many wonderful people.

A massive thank you to The Lord Gladstone for hosting us and providing such a fantastic venue. Special shoutout to Mitch, Pat, and the entire team for their exceptional hospitality and support.

Huge thanks to DJ Amri for keeping the vibes high with amazing music throughout the day, and to our co-hosts Nick and the team from Article One Events for their partnership and dedication.

🌟 Volunteer Opportunity! 🌟

Join Jamaican Delight in celebrating Jamaica 62nd Independence Celebration! on Saturday, 3rd August! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success. The celebration runs from 10am to 6pm at The Lord Gladstone Hotel,115 Regent Street, Chippendale, 2008.

We have various roles and shifts available:

**Roles:**

- **Setup Crew:** Help set up stalls, rooms, and decorations.

- **Kids Activities Coordinators:** Supervise and engage children in fun activities.

- **Greeters & Information Assistants:** Welcome guests and provide event information.

- **Cleanup Crew:** Help with pre, during and post-event cleanup.

**Shifts:**

- 10am - 1pm
- 1pm - 4pm
- 4pm - 7pm

Each volunteer will receive a delicious meal and a commemorative T-shirt.

From our humble beginnings in Darwin in March 2013 to our increasing presence in Sydney. Jamaican Delight are authentic and traditional caterers of Jamaican food. We formed the business due to our passion for our food and culture and to bring an authentic taste of Jamaica to Australia and also to bring a taste of home to those native to the Island. We can currently be found at selected markets and festivals around Sydney, as well as catering for private events.
