WE HAVE ARRIVED 💪🏽❤️💪🏽

After 11 years of hard work, dedication, and passion, we are proud to announce that is officially recognized as the largest independently run grassroots creative production, event, and studio space not only in Sydney but Australia.

Since 2019, we’ve been creating spaces that nurture culture, creativity, and community, and today we stand as a testament to what happens when we come together.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been transformative. From stepping into the discomfort of publicly sharing our struggles to the incredible support and alliance that has emerged, we’ve been reminded time and time again that we are stronger together.

A huge thank you to everyone who has stood by us, especially to for amplifying our voices and providing a platform for our story. This moment is not just ours—it’s a celebration of all those who believe in the power of culture, creativity, and community spaces.

We are particularly grateful as Co- Founder - Daniel (Ginger and the Ghost), myself (), and — to our artists, family and community for standing alongside us and pushing for disruption that leads to positive change.

Together, we are reshaping the cultural landscape of Sydney, and this is just the beginning.

Here’s to the heart, the hustle, and the spirit of resilience that have brought us here. This is only the beginning. The work continues, and we are more determined than ever to make an impact.

Tomorrow Nest Co-Founder launches her new work “Liminal Landscapes” an audio / visual - multimedia work presented under her wellbeing studio

‘Liminal Landscapes’, an immersive work by Melissa Gilbert. Melissa is a descendant of the Mununjali Clan of the Yugambeh Nation in South East Queensland with links to Quandamooka and a long time collaborator of Purpose Conference.

Liminal Landscapes invites you to explore the connection between our environment and the climate crisis through art, nature, and technology. This immersive experience offers a peaceful space to unwind and reflect, surrounded by soft sculptures, inflatable orbs, and textures inspired by the Australian landscape.

Special thanks to the other Co-Founder of the Nest - partner and .seller for working across the music recording and visual production.

BIG DORKY UPDATE Incoming ❤️💪🏽❤️ The first 5k from GOFUNDME Has been made and we would like to share how we have used it.

Thanks to everyone of you who donated we have bought 100 recycled flats (this will get us started on building partitions for the artists !

We have a long way to go and every donation counts in helping us build + relocate 90+ artists and 2000sqm space.

Here we are being nerds and getting the keys to our new space which beyond all adds we have secured which is fu***ng unbelievable in this climate where building are being demolished and cultural spaces like ours are beyond being under threat, they are being slayed one by one by development.

“Drawings from Larapinta”

Exhibition opening , opening 12th September, drinks 6-8pm on until and including 16th September 12–6pm.

“I was booked on a walking holiday, at Tjoritja (West Mc Donnell Ranges, NT), then broke my toe just before we were due to leave. I went anyway with a little sketchbook and painted for 6 days all day while everyone walked the beautiful Larapînta. The result is 37 small watercolour drawings in their raw form. Not an exhibition of finished glossy works, but a story of in situ first reactions to a landscape with thanks to a little bowl of watercolours”.

We are artist run spaces … this means Daniel and Missy make money as artists and put it back into the nest directly.

It also means that Daniel and Missy train up legends like these who are also artists to step into roles that support in service to other artists within the nest.

Together, we are culture makers, culture crafters and we do this at a grass roots level.

It’s been huge making a nest interstate but we did it and this team .art and .imperial are an intrinsically important part of crafting this culture and supporting community!
