Hi, to all those loving couples who have come across my profile while looking for a caring and experienced Celebrant.
I am sure you ask yourself, "Why has Michelle been absent from posting and active duties as a Marriage Celebrant over the past year?" So, I thought I would explain...
In 2024, I made the decision to take a sabbatical to explore and travel through Outback NSW and QLD, the Gulf, and the East Coast from Cooktown to home in the Blue Mountains. This journey was an enriching and rejuvenating experience, allowing me to reconnect with nature, discover new skills in my toolbox, and gather inspiration that I believe will enhance the ceremonies I conduct.
During this period, I fully immersed myself in the beauty and solitude of the Australian outback, visiting remote communities, breathtaking landscapes, and gaining a deeper appreciation for the diverse heritage of our country. This time away has been both personally fulfilling and professionally beneficial, as it has provided me with fresh perspectives that I am eager to bring into my work as a Marriage Celebrant.
I am pleased to announce that I am now present and open for business for the year 2025. I am excited to return to my role with renewed energy and enthusiasm, ready to assist couples in creating memorable and meaningful wedding ceremonies. Whether you are seeking a traditional service, a unique celebration, or something in between, I am here to help bring your vision to life.
Thank you for your understanding and support during my year of travel, and hope you enjoy the slide show of some of the memories from my adventures!
I look forward to reconnecting with past clients and meeting new ones,
in the coming year.
Happy Long Weekend! ๐Ÿ˜Š
Warm regards,
Michelle ๐ŸŒท

Not long ago I had the privilege of marrying Genevieve and Jordon on their family's beautiful property at Hartley. We were so lucky that the weather held for the ceremony and photos after all the hard work leading up to it!
Congratulations on becoming

Some weddings are just so special! Last Friday I had the privilege to marry my dear friends' beautiful daughter, Hayley, to her sweetheart, Daniel, on the lovely grounds of Chapel Hill Retreat. Rain again, tried to move us indoors, but it held off long enough for us to enjoy the ceremony as planned.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Leedham! You are fabulous, and it was an honour! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Last Saturday's weather was perfect to showcase Teagan & Tom's wedding under the shade of the Wedding Tree in the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, Mt Tomah.
These childhood sweethearts have waited longingly for this day, especially after two postponements due to Covid and life events!
But, the third time was the charm, bringing much happiness and joy to everyone.
Congrats, and thank you, guys. I'm so delighted that I could be part of such an important event in your lives. ๐Ÿ’–

Words alone can not express how much delight I receive from meeting such lovely and interesting couples as Iva and Stuart. Not only do I get to know these wonderful people but I have the privilege of designing and performing one of the most special moments in their lives!
Last weekend was just such a moment, when Iva and Stuart shared the most romantic vows that I believe I have ever had the pleasure of being witness to! Of course, those vows and words of love are not from my pen, but from the hearts of the newlyweds. Iva looked incredibly beautiful in a dramatic red sequined gown, complimented by Stuart, who was very handsome in jet black. They were joined together in matrimony in front of an intimate gathering of their closest and dearest at The Lakeside Restaurant in the Sydney International Regatta Centre, and despite rain plaguing the day, a fantastic day was had by all. ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŽ‰

Married at last! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰
Kellie and Jay have been waiting for this moment for some time,
but it was worth the wait!
At the excellent venue of Mulgoa Valley Receptions, a fabulous day was had by all, with everything coming together beautifully, especially the Bride!
Thank you, guys, for allowing me the privilege of designing and performing your marriage ceremony. ๐ŸŒผ

In the private setting of the Palm Beach Bible Garden, Tiffany and Jay celebrated their love in an intimate, and very special ceremony, with the people they love most in the world. Tiffany looked radiant in a beautiful princess gown, complimenting her newly wed husband Jay, who looked very handsome in his smart but casual attire, which was perfect for the Palm Beach backdrop. There wasn't a dry eye in the gathering of guests as they said their vows to each other, including this Celebrant! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š
Congratulations, again you two. You deserve all the happiness in the world. ๐ŸŒท

Recently, I had the great pleasure of tying the knot for this young couple at the unique location of the Adelina Falls, Lawson. Claire and Trent just wanted an intimate ceremony to celebrate their love and this location certainly lent itself to that wish. Although the climb there and back was worth it for the beautiful backdrop, getting stuck in a thunderstorm and getting soaked did nothing for my hairstyle on the day! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†
Congratulations, again, Mr and Mrs Clark. ๐Ÿ’

Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you're having a fabulous Australia Day. ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒท
Late last year I married a very special couple, Alana and Mason, and had such a marvellous time sharing their wedding day. Moments Photography, who were wonderful to work with, did a truly amazing job of creating a fabulous video, capturing all their moments. Simon, from Moments Photography, was kind enough to give me a small cut from that video, where I was delivering a quirky poem that Alana and Mason had chosen as part of their ceremony.
So, I thought I would share it with you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Last Saturday I had the great pleasure of performing a baby naming day for a beautiful little man called James. It was my first, so I was quite excited. James' parents Maddie and Brendan are so lovely and chilled, and with their wonderful family, put on a fabulous event! As you can see by the photos we all really enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you, Maddie and Brendan, for trusting me, and sharing with me such a happy experience. ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒผ

When you're a Celebrant, you have the great privilege to wed many wonderful couples, but most of them are people you've only just met. Sometimes you're lucky and they become good friends, and some even feel like family, but there is no better feeling, or honour, than marrying your son and his beautiful fiancรฉ! At Hat Head, with the gorgeous Korogoro Creek as the backdrop, I had that honour, and my pleasure and delight knew no bounds!
With our families gathered on the riverbank, we held a very intimate ceremony where tears and laughter went unchecked, and Aaron and Jess rejoiced in the celebration of their marriage. Such a special time for us all! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

To past, present and future couples, I would like to extend to you the warmest of Christmas wishes. May you have a fabulous day tomorrow, and that 2023 be all that you hope for.
Thank you again, to all my beautiful couples whom I have had the pleasure to marry. You are amazing, and I so appreciate the trust you placed in me.
Merry Christmas. ๐ŸŽ‰

I couldn't stop smiling yesterday after finally marrying this very special couple, Alana and Mason! We met in 2019 to plan their dream wedding, then along came COVID.
Two postponements later we all came together at last, at the very charming Venue,
The Lodge, Upper Colo, and had an absolutely fabulous time. Everyone was very relaxed, but excited, and really got into the spirit of the event. Even the unexpected storm at the signing couldn't dash the everyone's spirits as we were all just so happy to be there. Thank you, again, Alana and Mason for allowing me the privilege of designing and performing your ceremony. Loved it!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’–

Castlereagh landscape was the perfect backdrop for Natalie and Logan to celebrate their wedding day.
Everything went off without a hitch, and much fun was had by all! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Celebrant For All Occasions

I thought of becoming a Celebrant many years ago. The idea of helping couples celebrate their commitment to each other, in an original ceremony that I designed, and delivered, really appealed to me. But as life would have it, my journey followed closely to my young familyโ€™s, with soccer, swimming, committees and school canteen duties. I studied in between these activities, and received my Diploma of Business, planning on a real estate career. But it wasnโ€™t until I attended a friendโ€™s funeral, and observed the dignity and caring work of the lovely Celebrant, who made all the difference to the family, saying their final farewell to their loved one, that I realised that that was what I wanted to do. I believe that a genuine, caring Celebrant can make all the difference! And so it is with weddings, for they are closely related. One celebrating the beginning of a life, and the other celebrating the end. Either way, both events need to be embraced with love, and sometimes, a little laughter. But always with a genuine desire to create a very personal, heartfelt ceremony, that embraces the spirit of the occasion! So, that is what I would like to offer. I am that person, who wants to make the difference....
