We're proud to announce that in addition to performing at THUNDER | DARK N STORMY REPRISE, Megzi will be the flag bearer for Sydney Leatherwomen in our inaugural Sydney Gay & Le***an Mardi Gras float, proudly flying the flag high as we march alongside Sydney Leather Qu**rs and Sydney Leather Men Inc!

To support Sydney Leatherwomen as we further develop our online presence and social outreach, Megzi ( she/her) will now be joining our volunteer collective as a moderator.

All EOI's for our 2025 float have now been considered and emails sent to all applicants. Check your emails if you applied, message us if you didn't receive one (but check your junk mail first!) x

To the femme le***an with a psychosocial disability they said wouldn’t be supported. Too femme, being too awkward, spoke too loud, pushed boundaries, moved barriers, changed stigma. Stood up for women and qu**rs, in rooms most warriors wouldn’t even contemplate.

None of this has come easy. Not as a woman. Femme. Le***an. Or having a disability.
Yet she stands tall- literally 6 foot, add boots, even taller.
She doesn’t fight with weapons she uses a pen & activism
She gives people blankets, even when they ice her cold.
She gives humans handouts and tissues, even when the night before she laid on the floor herself struggling.
Everytime she rises up, stands up, shows up and looks like a glamour goddess full of beauty and energy, in any space or place.

Following a sold out run of tours during Vivid Sydney in 2024, the Inner City Legal Centre is proud to present a second and final season of S*x Work: A Legal and Social History.

Red lights, late nights and neon silhouettes are the stereotypes that have long been synonymous with the s*x industry, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst.

Busting through these stereotypes, the tours will provide an informative and entertaining guided discussion on the history and contemporary challenges of s*x work in Australia’s most famous redlight district.

Running for 3 consecutive weekends from February 7 - 23, get in quick as last time these sold out before we had the chance to advertise them properly!

The return tours will feature s*x industry workers, lawyers and healthcare workers including; Vashti Hughes, Julie Bates AO, Chantell Martin, Kooncha Brown, Charlie Murphy, Alex Paradise, Joanna Megan, Katie Green and Wendy Machin.
