Stunning Alana and Emerson...a wedding that thankfully happened a while ago between both lockdowns in Sydney. It was such a joy to be part of this event. I particularly remember how excited we were to hear some live music again and have people up on a dance floor. Such a gorgeous wedding to have styled. Loved every minute.

The Gili Rooftop at Taronga Zoo. I love using this space, and I loved the bright colours even more. A little bit of a unique brief for us with such vibrant playful colour, and I can't say I've ever used a purple aisle runner at a wedding before, but there you go!!

Well, I think it says a lot given this is the first wedding that I have had a chance to post this year. But it was such a treat to style Harleen and Jarrod's wedding at the Gili Rooftop, Taronga Zoo. Coming out of lockdown last year, it was so much fun working with such playful colours. And as they say, the future is bright!

An anniversary dinner for the sweetest couple, the fastest year ever despite navigating through a pandemic. What a joy to work with one amazing Mrs to plan this surprise dinner for her husband...so much fun once again to plan an incredible evening. And naturally, behind me were a clever little village of superstars who sprinkled magical fairy dust over everything to bring the night to life, thank you and Georgie. Outstanding!!!

Last year I wrote about many of our venue friends pivoting their business to gourmet food delivery services in the midst of the pandemic. Well I finally got around to signing up for a meal subscription to yeschefdelivers The same team from Grand Pacific Group with awesome venues like Gunners Barracks, Sergeants Mess, Dunbar House and The Tea Room QVB

Take a look, it's been pretty life-changing. The food so delicious, definitely not possible to pass these meals off as my own cooking. Congratulations to the team at Yes Chef. Now all I need to do is work on my mad plating skills.

Well, it's been a long time since our last post. If I'm honest, the break from social media has been so lovely. But I am beginning to miss my friends here and all the lovely connections that that brings. The roller coaster of planning an event during COVID has been hectic. For every event that has gone ahead in the past 12 months, there has been a handful postponed or cancelled. And it's really tough taking that ride with every couple affected.⁠
⁠
But on the weekend, this gorgeous event (which we have been planning since way back when last year) happened for the lovely and ⁠
⁠
So utterly thrilled for them that it was such a magical day, beautiful venue and everything just unfolded like clockwork. It also felt like a first in a long time for me, when the brakes have been taken off with so many of the COVID restrictions. ⁠
⁠
Aside from the pressures of work, and delivering something on time and on brief, I actually thoroughly enjoyed being around people, seeing my fellow event pals and other suppliers showing up to do what they do.⁠

Weddings are back people. Well at least for the time being. This wedding was definitely worth the wait and all the love and hard work. Congratulations Lauren and Germano, what an amazing day. 😍😍

When two people want to spend forever together, nothing should keep them apart. Today at Bathers a very different ceremony for two gorgeous people who didn't want to wait any longer. Congrats Claire and Andrew. An incredible day, full of sunshine and love.
