Daniel saw Jen’s profile on a dating app and he spent the best $1 of his life when he purchased a rose so that he could match with her. Jen thought Daniel was a real looker and expected him to be a cool bloke who wouldn’t have much in common with her, but she decided to give him a go, and they set up a first date. To Jen’s surprise, Daniel turned out to be just as big a geek as she was, and they spent the evening fighting about Pokémon, discussing Emo Punk and telling each other outrageous stories. It was a match made in heaven and they couldn’t wait to see each other again.

HOLD ONTO EACH OTHER
They started chatting online and discovered that they shared a lot in common; they both loved camping, four-wheel driving, and motor bike riding (where had this girl been all his life, thought Mason?) Jess drove to Mason’s house and they travelled together to a café for their first date, however, what should have been a 5 minute trip turned into a 20 minute one because Mason couldn’t concentrate on driving AND keeping up a steady flow of conversation with Jess. He was so nervous, every time he looked at her, he just knew he was looking into the eyes of his future!
On Friday they kept it simple and elegant as they pledged their love and said their vows in front of a few close friends. It was my honour to make it all official for them at last! Big Congratulations to a lovely couple. The best thing to hold onto in life is each other ❤️

Mia lived in Shellharbour and Kasun in Sydney so it would be a significant effort for the two of them to meet. Luckily, Mia had a ticket to a Sydney concert coming up very soon, so they made a time to meet up before the concert began. When they saw each other for the first time, something magical happened; their ♥️♥️ recognised each other, and their hearts
instantly knew that the search was over. They had found the person that made them complete. Of course, that’s when Mia’s head got in the way, and she began to doubt all the wonderful feelings she was having. So, Mia sent a text to her friends, giving them the secret code word for an early exit to the date 😧 However, her friends knew best ... they just laughed at her and told her to enjoy her date (thank goodness!) Well, one hour stretched into four and when it was time to part for the concert, Mia and Kasun both agreed that they would very much like to see each other again.
Big congratulations, my friends. May you make a million more “first times” together (thanks Ed!)

YOU ARE THE CHERRY 🍒 ON TOP
It was 2014 and high school Jake was a man of few words, all mysterious and quiet and Sophie didn’t really know what to make of him? However, just before high school was finished, Jake did what he had always wanted to do … he asked the beautiful Sophie out for some ice cream ... just the two of them. It was a different Jake that turned up for their date, like a spell had been removed or something. He was friendly and charming and as they sat there talking and laughing, Sophie learned so much about him. He had dreams and values and a goofy sense of humour to match hers. She really liked him, and they had such a great time together that they decided to do it again ... and again ... and again ♥️ Congratulations my friends, may the years ahead be filled with everlasting love and joy (and ice cream … )

HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU
Anita arrived for their 1st date wearing a big smile and her leather jacket and got Scott’s heart pounding. From the moment Scott saw her, there was a buzzing in his ears ... he had never felt like this before and it totally
freaked him out! Anita started chatting away and told Scott that she was flying to Hawaii in a few days to attend a wedding and as the date progressed, it occurred to her that she seemed to be doing all of the talking? Poor Scott ... he still hadn’t recovered, he was still freaked out! Articulating anything was an effort but he DID try. He just kept asking over and over again ... “Have you been to Hawaii before?” “Have you ever been to Hawaii?” 😂. Anita went home thinking that Scott was a sweet guy but he wasn’t much of a talker, maybe he just wasn’t interested in her?
Scott knew he had to make up for that first date. He needed to get used to the cataclysmic effect Anita had on him. He felt much more confident online, so he downloaded WhatsApp and began messaging the girl of his dreams while she was in Hawaii. Their online chats showed Scott in a different light; he was funny and confident, and Anita realised that he really WAS interested! So, they set up a 2nd date ... and as they sat opposite each other, sharing a frozen custard, they both took a chance and opened their hearts ♥️ ♥️ Congratulations, my friends … what’s meant to be will always find its way xx

SPOOKY 👻
You’ve known someone for almost a year and now you are face-to-face for the first time … Jas and Brendan were working on a business project together; she was in the Philippines and he was in Oz.  When Jas needed to make a quick trip to Sydney, they agreed to meet up for coffee. Everything felt so easy as they sat and talked about this and that ... anything but work. As the hours passed, Brendan realised that he didn’t want it to end so he asked Jas if she wanted to go to dinner, and if she was brave enough, would she join him for a Ghost Tour at Manly Q Station?  
Well, dinner was wonderful, and the Ghost Tour was scary, but Jas was more scared when she got back to her hotel room. She couldn’t sleep that night and she didn’t know if it was because of the ghosts, or because she had just met her future husband? ♥️ Congratulations, my friends … proof that distance means so little, when someone means so much x x

JUST THE TWO OF US
When we met to sign the first legal document, T & S told me they had been together for 18 years, they were a ‘no fuss’ couple and they wanted a ‘no fuss’ ceremony! They wanted to keep things intimate and private … it would be just the two of them on a date that was significant for them ❤️ ❤️
On a beautiful, sunny Tuesday morning, they stood in my garden for a sweet and simple ceremony, free of all the hubbub and pressures of a traditional wedding. The day was about them, their choices, their style and their very apparent love for each other.
It was my honour to help them get married (and to say my mum and her bestie were over the moon to be the legal witnesses, would be an understatement 😂 )

A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY
Geoff won some free online hours at an Internet cafe and instead of researching more about Trikes, he found himself on a dating website. With only two selection criteria (1) must be a non-smoker; and (2) must like country music, he stumbled across Donna’s profile and sent her a message. They agreed to meet at the HMV music store and Geoff told Donna to look for the man in the yellow shirt. Now this was 2002, and no photos had been exchanged between them yet, so a hideous toothless drug addict showing up was a very real possibility! When Donna arrived at the music store, she found Geoff, and she was happy (and relieved) to see that, yes … he had all his teeth!
Relationships don’t have to follow a specific timeline, and 22 years filled with love, laughter, and loads of adventures seemed to be the right amount of time for this couple to wait before they (finally) made it official … and we were all so very excited and honoured to to come together and support them on the joyous occasion of their marriage! ❤️ Congrats, my friends!

They decided to meet up at a place called Sushi On Fire - and how prophetic that name turned out to be - because although it was only a first date, the sparks were definitely flying. By the end of the date, those initial sparks had already grown into flames 🔥

C’EST URGENT ! ❤️
Eva was offered a dream job in Paris. She needed to be there ASAP (!) and the only way Simon could accompany her … was if they were married! After a few long zoom meetings together and a trip to the Courthouse, all the legal paperwork was in place. Then, with the help of of their fabulous family and friends, a beautiful wedding celebration was organised in just four days! Together for 18 years, it definitely wasn’t a whirlwind romance for Eva and Simon, BUT IT DEFINITELY WAS a whirlwind wedding! Félicitations, bravo mes amis! 💋 💋

SAY CHEESE 📸 ❤️
He saw her across the crowded room, a beautiful girl with a big smile and eyes that held lots of secrets. He wanted to speak with her, so he grabbed some friends and started to walk towards her … and then … he asked her to take some photos of him and his mates. A few moment later, Andrew came back to properly introduce himself to Angela and he discovered that this vision of loveliness also had a great personality! They spent the next few hours chatting and making each other laugh and eventually exchanging phone numbers. 9 years of fun, friendship, travel, blessings, cherished memories and unconditional love followed. Then, at long last, there was a beautiful wedding where they were surrounded by family and friends. Congratulations to a wonderful couple and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together!

They seemed to go to the same high school parties, and by 2017, those parties had morphed into nights out at the pub. And that’s where this True Blue Aussie Love Story finally starts to get some traction! After Luke had a few too many one night, Kate gave him a lift home, and now, because it’s an unwritten Aussie law … he owed her one. So, it was decided that he would pay for her drinks at the next night out. Saturday night arrived and, true to his word, Luke opened up his wallet, and there must have been magic inside, because all their friends watched on as they came out of their shells, and laughed and joked and flirted with each other … there was even a kiss!
That was their beginning … and they’ve been together ever since. Congratulations my friends, it was an honour to be your Celebrant, to tell your story, and to help you get happily hitched at last ♥️ ♥️

Lin and Sun wanted something simple and sweet. They chose to marry at sunset in Caffyn Park, Dover Heights, with views overlooking Sydney Harbour and the City. They bought along their good friends to act as photographers and legal witnesses and I also bought along a small bucket of rose petals from my garden … just for a bit of fun … just to add a few more memories to their day. They kept a few rose petals and put them in the envelope with their marriage certificate ❤️ Then it was off to their favourite restaurant for a celebration dinner. All you need is love ❤️ Love is all you need 🎶

SHARK TALE♥️
Carly and Phil met at a funeral … I don’t get to say that very often! Of course nothing happened at the funeral but there was a Facebook friend request sent and accepted. Their 1st date was to a fancy dress party and that’s where the Eskimo and the Shark became enchanted with each other and danced the night away. It took a few more dates before there was a kiss but they managed to update their Facebook status to “in a relationship” just in time for Phil to take Carly to her Year 12 formal 💋
12 years later, and they’ve built something really solid and beautiful together. Their love for each other has been steady and constant. On Saturday, they married at Bendooley Estate in a magical celebration and we all couldn’t be more happy for them. Big congratulations my friends! ♥️

NO ESCAPE ♥️
Anyone who knows Georgia, knows she’s not really a fan of exercise, so she went on the hike with her friends, let’s just say, reluctantly. They started walking and that’s when the handsome Tyrone came over and introduced himself. To say that Georgia was tongue-tied would be an understatement - she couldn’t even look at him. Her attraction was instant and (thank God) it started to rain … and the hike was called off. Tyrone was oblivious to the astonishing effect he had on Georgia and he asked for a lift home, and then he invited himself along to the movies when he found out that’s what the girls had planned. There would be no escaping him!
8 busy years later, and Tyrone didn’t let her get away! They finally said their I DO’s in the Peppercorn Chapel at Burnham Grove Estate, in an intimate ceremony full of laughter and happy tears (and Queenslanders!) Congratulations my friends, “May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours wherever you may roam... ” ♥️
