Last month we organised the Aquatic & Recreation Institute NSW - ARI NSW 2024 Awards of Excellence. It was another great evening celebrating the achievements of those in the aquatic industry. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners on the night!

We would like to inform our valued clients and community that Blaze Events has made the decision to step away from managing the entertainment programming at Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club as of the end of this year.

While we will see out all entertainment commitments for 2024, our focus moving forward will be solely on our corporate events, flights and marketing side of our business. This decision wasn't easy, as we have enjoyed a great and long-standing relationship with Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club for over 28 years, however it felt the right time for us.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the team at Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club for their support over the years. We also wish Renee Walters and Premier Entertainment all the best as they take over the entertainment bookings for 2025 and beyond.

To our wonderful artists that we have worked with for many years (some since the beginning of this entertainment journey!) please keep in touch and we look forward to working with you in the future. We know our paths will continue to cross in the events industry.

We had the pleasure of arranging Phonak ’s annual "Crack the Code" event for their top Lyric NZ and AU providers and what better place to hold a conference than the beautiful Queenstown in New Zealand! Blaze Events had the privilege of organising the Carbine Club of NSW's AGM and Olympic & Paralympic Dinner held at Royal Randwick Racecourse at the Australian Turf Club in May. Members and their guests were entertained with interviews with past Olympian rowing great Cameron Girdlestone and Paralympic tennis legend David Hall OAM by our incredible MC Stephanie Brantz.

It was a fantastic 3 day event filled with engaging keynote speakers. Thank you to the team at West HQ for having us.

We're delighted to have coordinated the Carbine Club of NSW's annual fundraising racing luncheon again this year! Teaming up with the Australian Turf Club, we proudly presented The Champions Lunch at the Winx Stand, Royal Randwick last week.

With over 700 guests, this event raised funds for Riding For The Disabled (Richmond), Equine Pathways Australia, and the Australian Turf Club Foundation.

Big thanks to all our lunch sponsors and to the Australian Turf Club for collaborating with us on this fantastic event!
