The 4 things I believe are non negotiable when it comes to your styling budget are
1. Bridal Table
2. Dance floor
3. Main Guest Tables
4. Day of Stationary

Let’s break it down

1. The bridal table is where you - the couple will be 75% of the night. So it’s where the photo and video will be focused on for 75% of their night. It will be in 75% of your photo and film so make it look good. This would be the table itsself, the florals, the candles etc

2. The dance floor is the centre of the space often so again it will be in more than 50% of your photos and video plus it’s where your cake, champagne tower, entrance to the reception and first dance all will take place. It’s a shiny acrylic material in any range of colours and can do any size. Personalizing it with a decal it popular to finish it off too!

3. Your main guest tables will be those in the middle 1/3 of the room - often where family and close friends will be seated. These tables will often be in the frame of the photo and film. Plus they are your VIP guests so we look after them with the best florals high and low and candles for the romance. As we style the outer tables we can reduce the size and qty of elements to make your budget work too!

4. Day of stationary is your welcome sign to say Hi, the seating plan to communicate to your guests where to go in the big room, the name tags to indicate exactly on their table where to sit for dietary and position etc and often integrated with the name tag is the menu which tells your guests what is for drink and eat ( course that’s the no1 priority for a happy guest!) we can sort all of this for you and ensure it’s matching in consistency and style etc.

What I see is couples want the things that money can’t buy and experiences not had prior for a memorable event ⛪️

While these two professions are often mistaken for one another, we hope this breakdown helps you see that the role of a planner and a designer are completely separate jobs. Planning the songs for your ceremony is something we do 8-12 weeks before the wedding so we are all prepared for rehearsals and the sound equipment required too.

Here are the 6 music parts of the Ceremony:

1.Pre ceremony songs to play for the 15mins prior to ceremony as guest arrive and find their seats.

2.Bridemaid Entrance Song - just ensure its duration covers all bridemaids, flowergirls and maid of honor too.

3.Bride entrance song - the one when it starts signifies all guest to stand and the bride makes her way to say I DO.

4.Signing of the certificate - plays whilst the couple and their witness’s sign the marriage certificate with the officiant.

5.Departure song for the couple once declared officially married and had the kids.

6.Post ceremony songs to play for the 15mins after the ceremony as guest depart and make their ways to the next event of the wedding.

We strongly recommmend not leaving your choices to the last minute for a number of reasons but 2 that come to mind is
1. Time to check the version to avoid swearing and ads if playing a Spotify version
2. Check the connection to a speaker if using Bluetooth or a sound system so you know it all will work

The 5 steps for a perfect STATIONERY TIMELINE 😍

1. Enquire
It’s never too early to enquire! Both your wedding date and mailing date help shape our schedule. Secure your spot 8-12 months before your wedding date for a seamless experience. It’s best to reserve a minimum of 4-5 months for the entire design and production process.

2. Design
This detailed process embraces your wedding style (colors, florals, fonts, tablescapes, etc.), crafting a mood board, color palette and generating mockups for proofs. Depending on the season’s demands, the process spans around 4-6 weeks.

3. Production
Consists of sourcing, printing, folding, tying, calligraphing, and stamping each suite over a course of 4-6 weeks.

4. Mail
1. For local weddings, I recommend mailing your Save the Dates 6-9 months prior and 2-3 months prior for your invitation suite.
2. For a destination wedding or a wedding where most guest will have to travel, I recommend mailing your Save the Dates 9-12 months prior and 4-6 months prior for your invitation suite so guests can book their travel plans.

5. Day-Of Stationery
After receiving the RSVPs, we begin the creation of all day-of stationery materials approximately 2-3months ahead of your big day allowing 3-4 weeks for design+production then delivery+mail.

Failing to plan is planning to fail if you don’t allow time to production to happen.

We assist you every step of the way and can do simple all the way thru to luxurious stationery for your big day.

We work with any couple who is starting, part way thru or days out of their wedding day. We offer a stress free and professional experience in creating your big day with all the thoughtful touches and delightful details with military procession

While these roles serve different functions for your wedding day, both designers and planners invest so many unseen hours before the actual
wedding day.

On average, a team will spend about 250 hours on planning and coordinating and another 200 hours on design and styling. That’s 450 hours ON AVERAGE for ONE DAY. This doesn’t even
include a rehearsal day or a farewell brunch. And if you have multiple events or days this average multiplies!!

Does that seem crazy?
Well that’s why it’s a full time job and that’s why you might feel overwhelmed when you start to try and plan your own wedding on top of your full time job.

Remember when you look to hire a wedding planner that you might just be getting a planner and that planner might need to outsource your design and styling needs. Or you might find a planner that does all of it (again, like us!)

BUT when you hire a full, full service planner and designer - keep in mind that you are hiring one team to work four jobs, putting in an average of 450 hours for your day.
