We are thrilled to welcome you to Claremont Cottage Events and introduce ourselves for 2025. I am Jennifer, the Creative Director and Designer of Claremont. Alongside my husband Kimi, our operations, maintenance, engineering, and logistics manager, we form a dynamic duo, together with Faith & Cruz working as a team seamlessly to bring innovative concepts and designs to life. As a family-operated, home based business since 2017, we take pride in catering to a diverse clientele, pushing boundaries, and delivering exceptional experiences for all celebratory events, which includes weddings, corporate functions, and traditional Tongan and Pacific Island funeral styling and design concepts. SUNDAY SESSIONS WITH JEN ..In business and family settings, you may often find challenges remain unaddressed due to an unspoken expectation to silently withstand adversities without 'openly' expressing concerns or issues..Not sure why this is the case but I believe it may be due to simply because it's 'to safe face' or to 'uphold reputation' or even fear of what people may think or say...To say we've never encountered a rough patch in business would be an understatement, but I'm here to share what has been instrumental in our recovery during times of hardship and discouragement.
We have found that engaging in positive daily affirmations fundamentally proved to fuel our business journey to success..Believe it or not beyond a solid business plan and effective marketing strategies, DID YOU KNOW Positive affirmations can really offer a profound way to shape your mindset and propel your business forward?!. It not only harnesses the power of affirmations but also assists with amplifying productivity, motivation, and self-esteem while fostering positive thought patterns and achieving your goals.. We have learned that when we incorporate empowering statements into our daily routine, whether it be in business or family life it truly works as an initiator for transformative growth and sustained success in all that we set out to do..Now, this is not to say this is a swift fix for everything..But honestly setting your intentions and affirming them daily to the universe or a higher power allows energy to flow in accordance with the focus you give..

SUNDAY SHARE SESSIONS : "Truth Be Told" this guy (unbeknownst to him haha) has taken my own experiences and articulated it in a podcast..This is the dark side of entrepreneurship, which is seldom spoken about.. It seems that social media only focuses on the end results and not the trenches you go through in order to get through the journey and where you are today.. I am forever grateful that I have a life partner, friend and business partner and my beautiful children who (now) understand the highs and lows of running a small business..Who have all stuck it out even when they wanted to throw the towel in, even when I seemed to be neglecting their needs to try to build something from scratch for our future..You all stuck it out and here we are almost 7 years together going strong.. Traditional cultural expectations whereby the woman 'should be' the home maker and wife cooking and cleaning at home have all been exhausted since starting Claremont ..Initially ( I won't lie ) it did somewhat hinder the earlier days of the entrepreneurship journey but with God's Grace soon changed momentum as our own expectations of eachother as man and wife grew in a more positive light. As we began to do away with traditional expectations and have a better understanding and a new found respect for eachothers dreams and aspirations.. This journey together as a family of entrepreneurship has been one of mixed emotions of excitement, sacrifices, many tears and tantrums haha, many death stares and unforgivable tongue lashings but most important of all we have come out stronger and have learnt an invaluable lesson of kindness and speaking words of love even through the most challenging times, we always try to remember to only speak love..

🕊 K A N E I S I 🕊 Who could have imagined over 12 years ago or so as we all sat down together, laughed, and interacted away, there would be such a time like this?? Whereby we would be contacted by your family to create a send off for you..With whom we once sat down together at the same table😭😭 The news of your life cut short was even more devastating for us because once upon a time, we all shared many stories and laughed so hard together.. All the while creating this, for you, although our hearts were aching, we sure felt your presence.. Gone too soon, Rest easy, beautiful, Neisi xo
