Part-Time Senior Florist
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Florist to join our team and adapt to our evolving business needs. This part-time role offers 10-20 hours per week, with additional hours during peak seasons and wedding periods. Flexibility is essential, as candidates must be available to work at least one weekend day.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations: Oversee daily operations across both our Cherrybrook and Baulkham Hills locations, including stock management and flower preparation.
Customer Service: Manage customer orders, provide quotes, and communicate with brides via email and in-store consultations.
Wedding Duties: Assist with wedding preparations and setups, particularly on weekends.
Retail Support: Contribute to general retail tasks during non-wedding periods.
Market Tasks: Occasionally handle market pickups and ordering.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of floristry retail experience.
Extensive experience with bridal consultations, bridal work, and wedding setups.
Familiarity with the Interflora network.
Well-presented and professional.
Excellent customer service skills.
Friendly, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
Creative flair and strong design skills.
Available to work weekends and extensive hours during busy periods.
Reasonable levels of literacy and numeracy.
Contactable referees from previous work experience.
Current driver’s licence.
