Monday 8th September

Adam’s presence continues to fill the lives of those he loved in countless ways. In every photograph and memory, we are reminded of his warmth, his vibrant spirit, and his devotion to his beloved wife Marie, his children, and his family.

He cherished his family deeply—whether offering a comforting hug, sharing laughter through his goofiness, or writing songs. His passion for wildlife rescues reflected the compassion he carried in every part of his life.

Though the ache of his absence is deeply felt, we honour Adam’s life by celebrating the countless joyful moments he gave us.

The groom was full of emotion and love as he waited for his bride to walk down the aisle. It's such a privilege to be a part of a couple's most treasured day. A heartfelt celebration of life for Mrs Alba Marasco took place on 23 July 2025. This beautiful lady lived a very full life. She came to Australia from Italy as a young wife and mother in 1951 with her little family. Her family grew and both Alba and her husband Pasquale worked extremely hard and had a wonderful life with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They all gave her the most pleasure in life.

Alba touched so many other people's lives with her caring, generous, and positive down to earth nature.

This world has been left a better place because of Alba. Mother, Nonna, and friend to many, not to mention she is a Camden icon. 95 well lived years!

May she rest in peace eternally. ❤️🙏❤️

I thank the family for trusting me to officiate the service for their mum. Your dear Mum would have been very proud of you all in the way you fittingly farewelled her - especially with the red wine saluti at the graveside.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Creighton on their marriage yesterday on 14.6.25. Lots of love, joy, and laughter surrounded the couple as they pledged their life together on a perfect winter's afternoon. The presence of their children in the bridal party made the day. It will be a treasured memory for all their family and friends. Thank you for choosing me as your celebrant. It was a real honour.

"We had the pleasure of seeing Gemma as a celebrant at two of our friend's wedding. We were impressed by her warmth and professionalism and it was clear to us that we would love Gemma to be our wedding celebrant too.

Gemma delivered a high quality ceremony, paying lots of attention to the small details of our relationship story to make the ceremony just as we wanted it to be.
Gemma’s biggest advantage is that she can adjust herself to the style you're asking for.
She served a formal ceremony for our friends and a light, funny one for us as we requested.

Gemma had a couple of meetings with us to ensure that every word and action throughout the ceremony was as we wanted. We wanted to personalise our ceremony and add some of our own traditions, and Gemma learned all about them beforehand to deliver an amazing ceremony.

Also, it suddenly started raining on our wedding day, and the best part was that Gemma knew what to do and say to make sure the crowd was comfortable and enjoyed the ceremony.

Gemma took into account all our concerns, and guided us through everything so we could easily tick the ceremony off our list, knowing Gemma was looking after it. We fully enjoyed an amazing and intimate ceremony on the day. Gemma will always be a bright memory of our wedding day.

We cannot recommend Gemma enough!

Yesterday's marriage of Tom & Kate was nothing short of magical! Kate's Ukrainian/Israeli heritage was honoured with her father placing a rushnyk down for the bride and groom to stand on. This is a Ukrainian tradition symbolising purity and hope that the newly weds will never face poverty or hard times.

The couple said their heartfelt wedding vows to each other. The ceremony was finished off with a "breaking of the glass" - Mazel-Tov in honour of Kate's Israeli heritage. Her mum brought up the glass, and the couple crushed the glass - "as this glass shatters, so may our marriage never break".

The rain loomed low and threatened to dampen, but we were very lucky with only a few sprinkles from the heavens to bless the union.

Congratulations, dear Tom & Kate, may you always be as happy and in love as you were on your wedding day. 2.5.25. Love you lots. ❤️🥂❤️ xox

Out and about on our 39th wedding anniversary.

There's nothing like a newly sewn cotton dress on a hot day. This dress is the "Pop Over Dress" from "Gertie Sews Jiffy Dresses" book. All very easy patterns but there was a minor problem when I had cut the two backs or two fronts the same, hence the two-tone effect. I added the ric rac as a final touch. Without a belt this dress looks like a tent. I love it when I make a mistake in sewing; the surprise element of how a garment will look in the end is fun!
