Rice paper rolls are what keeps me in the kitchen (it’s the one menu item that I can’t give up…eek) and it’s also the one menu items that I absolutely love and will always enjoy eating the most.

A customer told Rikki-Lee the other day that he’s always purchasd rice paper rolls for lunch (from other places), but my rolls were ‘next level’. So to you kind sir, here’s some images of what I’ve been rolling.

Wednesday is cheat (treat) day here at Miss JuJu’s!!

We have the usual suspects…carrot cake, Portuguese tarts, chunky milk chocolate cookies, fruit tarts…today I’ve made lemon meringue tarts..the GLUTEN FREE chocolate cake (cupcake). And Goldfish bowl have come to join the party, with their almond croissants, gluten free chocolate brownies and cheesecakes.

Life of a cafe owner …Saturday night, bake night (definitely not date night for me!). This gluten free cake feels and smells great, fingers crossed it taste amazing as well.

There may never be enough Miss JuJu desserts, there’s a reason for this. All desserts are made by just the one person (no team work here)..including pastry. And I love that they sell out, knowing tomorrow there will a new batch. And so many tell me that they’re worth the calories!

So come see us for a coffee and a small treat. And if you need some festival food detoxing …come and grab a salad or some rice paper rolls. I’ll have them in the fridge for you from 10am.

I’ve always loved new years. 2025 for Miss JuJu will see a few changes. We have some new projects that we will be completing. We’ve worked so hard and been loved by Tamworth for so long, that we need to give back and showcase our potential to the town. Stay tuned.

And that’s a wrap for 2024 over here at Miss JuJu’s.

We’ll be closed for 3 weeks for a much needed break. We are now closed …we will be re-open again January 14th 2025.

Friday should be banh mi day! We’ve increased the baking for today and so there are plenty of banh mi for everyone.

- slow cooked Asian braised pork
- crispy skin chicken
- lemon grass chicken
- shiitake mushroom & tofu

Wednesday is bread day at Miss JuJu’s. Thank you for always being reliable and baking the best sourdough (according to my kids).

I thought I’d add a few photos of the items I baked this morning. Banh mi baked fresh every day and our bao’s always steaming. Come see us at 174 Bridge Street for a fresh carb hit! …sorry gluten free customers, but you can always come over for our rice paper rolls and salads !
