5 years ago today we started our journey over here on Bridge Street. Whilst we are constantly challenged with setbacks, we celebrate all that we have achieved.

We are so thankful to the Tamworth community for embracing us. We all hope that you continue to support us, because from the bottom of our hearts we truely love what we do and we strive every day, to do better, to be better….and we still have a long way to go.

So this post is to mark 5 years of doing what we love. Stay tuned for some new things, and the return of some old favourites.

Facebook is asking ‘what’s on my mind’. I can tell you that Crispy Chicken banh mi is what’s on my mind!!! We’ve introduced it back into our menu, we haven’t even had the chance to put out a post. We sold out today, however tomorrow is a new day. So for anyone who hasn’t tried our banh mi, make tomorrow the day and make it crispy chicken. You won’t be disappointed!

We are currently NOT open on Saturdays (and Sundays). We are planning on doing so…hopefully soon. Even though we don’t open on weekends, we did have a busy JuJu weekend. If you don’t believe me…take a look at what a weekend for Miss JuJu looks like.

(And yes I’m aware my social media skills are not by any means up to scratch…just know my skills don’t leave the kitchen).

Just wanted to say a huge (HUGE) thank you to everyone who made the trip across the bridge to come and see us this week. Garron and I truely did not know what to expect. There were a lot of phone calls we couldn’t answer and today we even had to close our Marius Street shop, just so we could have an extra pair of hands (sorry Marius street customers) .

With all the challenges we face, we endeavour to always get better and be better.

This is a post to say thank you to my amazing staff who works so (so) hard and to thank all our customers (we do this for you), for coming to see us.

Right now I’m letting you know I’ll be by the fire with reading material and my house work behind me (literally behind me)..and my tired feet up.

See you next week …where we will be doing it all again.

Miss JuJu (Bridge Street) update!

We have our menu ready and Garron has been busy doing runs of bao buns and banh mi (perfection is what we want).

Something we love more than food…is pre-orders! We already have a few dockets printed for Tuesday. We have some new team members who are as keen as we are, we know your time is valuable and we hate for you to wait longer than necessary. To help us do our best, if you give us a call on 0427050428 we will make sure we will have your lunch ready.

I know it’s been a long time since bao buns…guess who’s back?? ……. Miss JuJu on bridge street is back and we will be ready to serve you all.
We know you’ve missed our bao buns…and our lunch boxes….and most definitely our banh mi.

Although I may be in the kitchen, come visit our new fit out and renovations.

So let’s make a date Tamworth! Come and see what everyone is talking about …Miss JuJu & her team can’t wait to see you all again.

Re-opening date Tuesday 16th of July. Kitchen will be open from 11am. Coffee will always be available earlier.

There hasn’t been a day when someone has told us how much they miss our banh mi. We miss them too!!!

Tonight this was our dinner. We had all the fillings but just missing that light but crispy, fluffy but filling freshly baked bread roll (it’s never a banh mi without the bread). Hopefully not too long until we move back into our Bridge Street premises.

And a thank you to for thinking of us and bringing the mayo & pate all the way from Marrickville. You know our bellies appreciate you.

If you’re staying late at work or about to start your shift or forget to have your lunch today ….come and grab a salad or a packet of rice paper rolls.
