Help - It’s the week of my wedding and I’ve never felt more alone.
It’s the week of your wedding, you’re glowing, you’re excited, it’s the biggest and arguably most expensive day of your life, but everyone around you doesn’t seem to be excited. In fact, they’re not even that interested.
It’s you and your partner, organising a huge party, ensuring the guests, friends and family are fed, watered and entertained, yet no one is checking on you.
People are pulling out last minute because of some s**t excuse, vendors have added extra charges and before you know it you’ve dropped an extra 2K on god knows what but you have to, you have to keep the day going. You’re so close, and by this stage, you can’t wait for it to be over.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Let me break it down for you - 50% of your closest people are jealous of you. And the other 50% are selfish with their time.
You will very rarely come across friends and family who will support you in the lead up to your wedding without some resentment or some drama. Especially those who are at a stage in their life where they are not loved up. They will probably try to s**t can it as much as they can.
So let me tell you, when you are planning a wedding in advance, choose vendors who are genuinely invested in you, your day, your wants and your desires.
Don’t choose vendors just because they have a good instagram following.
Choose your vendors wisely, within your budget and within your priorities. At least the people you are paying should be in your corner. Am I right?
If you are hitched and you didn’t experience the above, I salute you. If this story resonated with you, then give a thumbs up or something, maybe that will cause a scene, maybe don’t.
Keep your mates gettin’ hitched in mind and remember, make everything about them, not about you!!
When you book me, you get me completely week of your wedding I’m your biggest cheerleader, your biggest fan!
