It is with a very heavy heart and huge emotion that I inform all of my couples, past, present and future that due to some major health issues I am currently battling, I am no longer able to commit my time and energy into making your ceremony the dream you always hoped for, therefore, I have decided to resign from my position of Celebrant. This role has been a huge part of my life for the past 14 years and it has taken a lot of thought to come to this decision - but as I've always insisted, my heart and soul must go into every bespoke ceremony and when I feel I can no longer offer this , it's time. Unfortunately, 'time' has arrived waaaay sooner than I had hoped, but I really believe at this stage of my potential recovery, I need to focus my energy on my own health and wellbeing as a priority, hence my decision. Thank you to all my past couples for the love, the appreciation, the friendships and the great memories and for the couples who had booked me for their future date, I thank you also but if any of you are having problems finding another Celebrant, please let me know and I'm sure I could help you search. It brings me immense joy to be a part of such significant occasions in my couples lives, and I look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Your trust in my abilities means the world to me, and I promise to continue pouring my heart and soul into every wedding I solemnise. As we move forward into the future, I am committed to continuously improving my skills and providing exceptional celebratory services. You have all affirmed my love for this profession and reinforces my dedication to creating memorable and heartfelt wedding ceremonies for each and every couple. Today I ventured up to the beautiful Barossa Valley again, to the stunning Chateau Yaldara. But today was different, good different, as I stepped out of the spotlight for the Bride’s long time good friend to conduct the ceremony. I stood in the background and ensured the legal components were ticked off amidst the humour from Pete and the responsive laughter from guests. What a fun afternoon for all! 😅 Congratulations Jamie and Shaylee, if your married life is anything like today was, you’re in for a fun filled life, brimming with excitement and so much love 💕

I don’t often venture to the South of Adelaide, but being down here for a short break this week, I had the opportunity to visit One Paddock Winery at Currency Creek. What a stunning place to hold your wedding ceremony and reception, 😍 just magical. I’d certainly recommend giving it a look if that’s the vibe you’re after.

Although the temperature caused a slight shiver amongst the guests, their eyes were locked on the bride and groom, oblivious to the weather. We shared laughter, tears and tender moments creating memories that will last a lifetime as Emma and Roger exchanged their heartfelt vows. Love after all, knows no boundaries, not even a chilly breeze. I wish for you both that the love you felt for each other on your wedding day, continues to grow stronger with each passing year.

It’s always exciting when couples choose to be married in their own garden and I love to share their vision of how it should all look on the day. For Roger and Emma, their garden lived up to their expectations, with the delicate flowers, the bushes and the shady trees contributing to a romantic and intimate atmosphere for such a special occasion. And there we go! With just a slight moment, when a few 'budding super sleuth's' started to join the dots to work out what was going on, we managed to pull off a great surprise for everyone. 🙂 I absolutely loved seeing all of the faces as the unexpected becomes reality. Ant and Jaz, we did it! and your beautiful little boy still managed to celebrate his 1st birthday milestone too. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of such a huge day for you all, it truly was amazing.

On a rather unusually warm-ish 30 degree September day, I was honoured to solemnise and celebrate the love of Daniel and Ashleigh as they shared their ‘I-do’s’ at the picturesque Saltram Winery. Zarna and Shaun are the most beautiful and down-to-earth couple and I feel so privileged to have been there to share in this special moment and help their dream of a small intimate wedding come true ❤️ Their ceremony was incredibly fun and laid-back; and everyone present was there to celebrate their relationship and have a good laugh while doing it.
