After time spent resting, reflecting, and soaking in the magic of motherhood, I’ve decided to continue my journey of creating love and florals for beautiful couples, after questioning whether I should close down my baby. This next chapter feels different—boutique, intimate, and filled with purpose and I’m so EXCITED.

Hi, I’m Ashleigh. Owner and founder of . It’s been over 13 years now since I left my corporate job as a journalist (which I LOVED🫶), and started my side hustle, . What began as printing messages and logos on paper bags and selling them for events and parties, quickly turned into weddings and larger events.
Between all this, I’ve had three beautiful boys amongst the chaos of owing a business, and all three of them, at some stage in their life, have risen early with me for flower market runs. They’ve attended more than their fair share of weddings, either attached to my b**b breastfeeding, or in the baby carrier, and during the past eight years, I’ve had many moments during my career, where I’ve felt embarrassed, intimidated and nervous about taking my kids to work with me, but somehow I’ve pushed through the anxiety, and just kept on going. I was worried I wasn’t professional enough, or that the client would judge me. I’ve felt scared and so, so nervous. But here I am, today, with my third and final baby Billy, rocking him off to sleep, on the job, not caring one bit what others thought of me. It’s funny how age and maturity and wisdom can change you.

I figure, I’m 13 years into the business; eight years juggling the demands of young children and babies, while navigating motherhood and weddings, and I haven’t had a complaint yet.

I’m so thankful captured me in this moment today, chatting to other industry folk, while in the midst of trying to get Billy to sleep (I won the sleep battle 🥳).

I will look back on this era and stage in my life, proud that I did it. I succeeded, I managed it all, while staying somewhat sane!

To all the full time mum business owners out there! Don’t give up. It’s bloody hard. It’s tiring. It’s anxiety-fuelled, but you can do it!

It’s been a while since I showed my face. My youngest little boy just turned ONE (how?), my middle boy just turned FIVE (wowza), and my first born son is almost 8 (now I feel old!).

I can’t believe I’ve been living and breathing for 13 years now!

Hi, I’m Ashleigh for the newbies amongst us, and almost 13 years ago, I decided to leave my full time corporate job as a journalist in the magazine world (which I LOVED), and start this side hustle. A side hustle that has now turned into my full time job!

What started as printing party bags for kids birthdays, graduated into styling parties, to then weddings, and before I knew it, I was doing florals too. With no formal event or floral training behind me, just lots of passion, is now what it is today.

Over the past 5 years, I have definitely slowed down when it comes to work. I’ve enjoyed being a full time mum and business owner, but my kids forced me to SLOW DOWN, and I’m not mad about it.
The juggle has been REAL, but if I’m not breastfeeding on the job between hanging floral installations or juggling tantrums at flower markets, I’m quoting after 9pm at night when I’ve finally got the kids to bed!

So, that’s me in a nutshell. I’m an avid lover of LOVE, togetherness and events. I adore creating, designing and making people feel special. I’m a giver…I just LOVE the feeling of making someone feel LOVED and special.

So, come and say HELLO. The journalist in me loves to learn about new people and ask lots of questions 🫶 But also, if you don’t say hello below, the imposter syndrome in me will kick in 😬
