Poems have a way to bring comfort during such an upsetting and difficult time.

If you ever find yourself in need of finding some inspiration, I have some popular poems scattered through my social pages.

I hope they bring a little peace, calm and maybe even a little smile.

The best types of ceremonies are the ones that are filled with laughter.

How do you keep it light-hearted?

Choose your bridal squad carefully and with the people that lift you up. Choose a celebrant that fits your personalities and who can shape your ceremony to reflect your wishes for the day. Make a conscious decision to be in the moment.

Be present and just let the good times roll.

Circle of Love was built out of love for honouring all of life's moments. The happy moments, The magical moments, and the most challenging times.

As a celebrant, I also cover funerals & memorials. The death of a loved one is always a harrowing experience, and I am very passionate that my services are handled with care and respect. Always!

My mission as your celebrant is to create a ceremony that honours and celebrates your loved one's life and deliver the ceremony in the tone that is how your loved one should be remembered and their wishes are met.

I hope that your journey to me as your celebrant is to be discovered during your happiest of times, but you know I am there during the trying times.

It's a 360-degree world, and I am here for all of these times.

I believe that you won’t miss the things in life that are truly meant for you.

Are you not married yet and not engaged yet? Don’t have a partner or the job that you want?

Who cares! Be your own best friend first, and be curious about things that spark your interest.
You never know what is down that rabbit hole.

Babies, don't we just love them!

Here are 3 ideas of ways to can incorporate your guests into the Naming day celebration to make it personal and memorable.

1. Have a wishing tree: Invite your guests to write promises, words of advice, or good wishes on individual tags and then hang on a tree (real if outside or artificial if indoors) as a special collective moment in the ceremony.

After the ceremony, you can then gather the messages and keep them for your child as a memento of the day.

2. A Video of good wishes:
How about making a video of guests’ wishes for your child either in advance to be shown during the ceremony or made at the ceremony as a memento for your child to enjoy as they grow up?

3. Creating a time capsual or memory box:
Some families include the creation of a ‘time capsule’ or ‘memory box’. You can ask your guests to bring something to add to it such as a newspaper article from the day your child was born, family photos, recorded messages, gifts to be opened when they reach a significant date in the future.

The container can be sealed during the ceremony with a view to being opened again on a significant birthday such as their 18th birthday.

Do you have any other suggestions? Comment below.

A few common questions we get as Wedding Celebrants

Is a Celebrant-led wedding legally binding?
No. To make this a legally binding marriage, you need to register your marriage in a registered office. You can do this before or after your wedding ceremony.

My job is to lead you through this process and help you file these documents.

We don’t want to legalize our marriage at all, is this allowed?
Yes. A Celebrant wedding ceremony is not a legally binding ceremony, and it focuses on the celebration of your love and relationship in a way that is special to you.

If you wish to confirm your commitment to each other without legal ties, then that’s not a problem.

Kylie & Jake.

What an incredible video -

It was my absolute honour to marry these two. I have known both Kylie and Jake for many years and to see you both finally declare your love for each other in front of your beautiful boys and family and friends was a beautiful moment I won't forget.

Now we have this video to always remember it by.

This month I have had the honour to work with multiple families to say goodbye to their loved ones.

As a Celebrant, I often advise on the timeline of your service and also some personal touches that you can add to the end-of-life celebration.

I thought it could be nice to start sharing some beautiful poems that, if ever you need inspiration, you feel that you could use my page as a simple resource to draw from.

My role as a celebrant has and always will be to be here for your 360 circle of love & life. Feel free to save or share for anyone that may need these.

This is me and my husband Gerry.

We have quite the love story...

Gerry and I met and were friends at 19yo, and strangely enough, he was the best friend of my fiance (a long time ago).

I always had a soft spot for Gerry. He was not only lovely but a tall, handsome builder and the friendliest of people! He just was different.

Fast forward some years - My fiance and I broke up; I moved to London for three years and lived a party lifestyle in Notting Hill. I then moved to Melbourne for another three years and then back to Sydney. But the funniest of things is all of these years; I always felt the need to reconnect with Gerry.

I searched for him but could never find him.

24 years later, a mutual friend told me she knew where he was!! He was living of the Central Coast and married with two beautiful teenage children. My heart sank with this news, but then she expanded to tell me that his marriage was now over and that he would be at a BBQ they were hosting on Sunday.

Can you imagine - 24 years later and now having the opportunity to reconnect. I was nervous, to say the least.

We met again. We both looked different, but still, he was as handsome as I remembered 😉.

And the rest is history, and the 24-year wait was well worth it........

You can now call us Mr & Mrs. Aylward.
